Digital region free download of Halo Master Chief Collection, well worth it in my opinion even just to play the campaigns again. Says it's a limited offer, grab the code from their Facebook page.

Best halo game/games by far, if it had reach included this would get 10/10- bargain at this price tho! don't bother with halo 5- get this instead.

some people like me are lazy and don't want to have to change the disks and for games you'll always go back to digital all the way.

Reach was on GOG and is backwards compatible, if you rememered to get it that is :smirk:
Reach is probably my favourite Halo game, its still got that sense of alien invasion and feeling of hopelessness that's lost in the later (H3 onwards) games. Dont get me wrong I love H3/4 (haven't done 5 yet) but I miss the days of just Humans vs Covenant with all this lore behind it that's slowly being revealed.

Got a digital copy of reach from g2a a few weeks back. Think I paid 7 Euro. Great game but it runs and looks terrible on Xbox one. If I had 360 I would play it on that instead

Halo 2 in particular on this is amazing. It looks amazing, the cut scenes are amazing and the campaign is every bit as good as you remember it was.
Which kinda makes you depressed if you have played Halo 4 or 5, as they aren't even close to how good Halo 2 is in single player.

Couldn't agree more. I remember getting into FPS' with the original Quake, and I was blown away by Halo when I got my first Xbox - but it was let down by some of the later repetitive levels with the flood.
Halo 2 came along and seemed to be 10x better than the first, with none of the boring parts that the first had. Still can't beat the warthog ending of the first Halo though - most thrilling end to a game ever!

weird isn't it, even though I live a very active lifestyle (and I'm far from lazy) I hate having to get up and go to the cupboard to get a different disk out.

My 'core' games that I don't want to ever trade, Fifa, Dark Souls, COD etc.. I always get on Digital, any others like Uncharted on PS4 I'll buy and trade as for me they don't have the replay value.

Does the online work now or is it still a farce?

Apart from single-player games like Tomb Raider, etc., I buy most games digitally. I sold my physical version of GTA5 and bought it digitally and started to play it more because of it. Can't imagine to flip discs, every time I want to play Forza, Fifa or a round of Halo 5 multiplayer.

Also this can be game-shared so could go halves with a friend and both have the game, perfect for coop

Completely agree - I bought the digital version of this myself. However, some people prefer physical copies so they can resell/pass on, etc...

paid full price for mine digitally and was one of my best value for money purchases on xb1- good to go back through them all and compare original to new hd version when pressing select button- also over 100 online maps
