Aye in sure I've seen the free offer recently, but in true hukd fashion I've signed up for the quid. No doubt I'll forget to cancel in three month and be enrolled to the tenner a month one, as they hope.

I do use Google play quite a bit though, although it has stopped me uploading music recently, for done reason.

I have been subscribing they services before on google music but just signed 91 day FREE trial. Not even asked a 1£ for it.

Used to be three months for free. It's been like this for ages. Still Google play music is the service I prefer.

yep, tbh Deezer is perfect for that but for myself, I hardly ever do that. I like to discover new music and spotify just seem to have the right playlist (like discover weekly etc.) so that I can.

Ah fair enough.
I don't use playlists, I just search for, download, and listen to full albums. Seems pretty simple to do that.

So My Issue was around the playlist and just finding the music. Spotify has it right there in front of you with playlist all pre build etc. where deezer was more around discovering individual bands (though the odd playlist would show for Metal etc.) but the usability for me was nowhere near any good compared to spotify and even google play. To do a playlist you would have to go into an album, then click each song then add it to a playlist. You can try and do it in the browser but my version you could only have access to the app which was worse for me and I ended up using an app like this:

Where I would make the playlist I wanted and then import them into deezer. A Pain and in the end I just paid for spotify.

I have the free offer from Three and had to go back to Spotify. The Android app is terrible. Constantly while I was out running it would just stop, not especially handy on your 7th kilometer! Even if the playlist was saved to device, sometimes it wouldn't even play those! No such issues with either the Spotify or Google Play Music apps.

Cancel it straight away you'll still retain all features until 27/7/16.

I tried to be sneaky and start my free 3 month trail and then try to by this but it doesn't work. I suggest buying it now, cancelling after the 3 months and then, if you can, try to start the free 3 month trail. I have no idea if it'll work but worth a shot for a pound.

I couldn't find the £1 offer by going through the play store. Took a look in the play music app instead, under the subscription section it gave me 3 months free, despite having had the offer previously. Might be worth trying if you can't find the posted offer.

Sadly I don't see a use by date. Well worth £1 though, just make sure you cancel before the £1 trial finishes.

Did this deal back in December. Its good for a 3mth trial. Not quite as good as spotify IMO , but certainly worth it for £1. Only open to new customers. Its back up to £9.99 if I check.

deezer is great. i think user error is to blame for the bad reviews

I really want to start using google play as i will tie in with google now etc. but with spotify for £4.99, nothing compares! I have Deezer for free with my contract and its abosulte poop compared to spotify. Shame google play dont do student discount otherwise ill be all over it.

If you have a chromecast, try checking your offers. You might have 90 days for free.

cheers for the heads up! so far I've managed 3 months free of apple music, 2 months free of Spotify premium, and my 14 trial of the truly awful Deezer has just finished, so this will tide me over nicely into the summer!

I took up an offer back in February which WAS available to existing subscribers - basically half-price for as long as you wanted to pay for by giving someone a gift subscription (eg to yourself for example!)

can you cancel straight away and still keep the 3 months like you can with Dezzer, if so how as I've never used Google play music but have got the banner

My 6 months free with deezer has been brilliant shame it's nearly up will see if this is still working.

If you grab a free "3" sim card you can get 6 month of Deezer for free

As always nowt for me, I guess like 99% Google play music based deals its new customers only :disappointed: you would think they would do an offer for existing / previous customers as there can't be that many new subscribers left....
