Film is very average but still a good price for the chromecast 2. Might be worth adding to your title that it's a 2nd generation chromecast

How does this work?
So you make payment on that wuaki site for £22.90, then they send you a code, which you then need to redeem in the Google Play Store, which then Google then delivers it from their warehouse?

Your sent the chromecast . The movie will be in your wuaki library .obviously you'll need to download the app ... The chromecast freebies aren't that good at the moment .. I got a chromecast around Christmas time and got £20 credit and 2 months now tv movie pass.. All there offering at the moment in 2 months entertainment pass and 90 days music .. bit meh :-) .. but wuaki are really good and always offer 99p movie rentals . So its up to you .. Hopefully this helps :-)

I did mine around Christmas time. There wasn't much confirmation that it was going to work, but sure enough it showed up maybe a week later.

I ordered one from Wuaki a few months back delivery time is a little longer than you'd expect (think they said upto 2 weeks), mine turned up after just over a week. Which isn't all that bad to me. Saved a tenner on the c/cast and wasn't in a rush. Great devices got 3 in the house, looking to add a 4th, so will be ordering this!

I ordered the Vacation movie offer with Chromecast a few days ago but never received a code? Just a receipt for the purchase of the movie.
I assumed they would have the chromecast sent to me direct from Wuaki themselves?

I don't know about that offer. But for this one it clearly states on the offer page the code will be given immediately and to redeem free Chromcast directly from Google.
This is exactly what happened with my order for this offer

I believe they now changed how they send you the Chromecast as the Vacation movie offer (https://landing.wuaki.tv/uk/the-equalizer-AFF) says please allow 5-7 days delivery whereas this offer it says it will send you a code immedately to use in the Google Store

This new Wuaki deal is basically giving you a chromecast from the Google store for £22.99! As soon as you purchase it, you get a code to redeem it straight from the Google store. The delivery will be from the Google warehouse, so it's exactly like buying it directly from Google, but at a £7 discount. I was a bit wary of previous Wuaki deals due to the long delivery times, but this way, it's a win win all the way!

registered a new account and purchased it.
tried to redeem on a black one but said redeemed. any ideas? like a spam to me and waste time and money.
it automatically does the redeem bit for you, continue through and the cost will show as £00.00

i paid on wuaki, took me to google and said redeemed but order not confirmed, i got endless spinning on order page..
called google today and they told me order was not placed but code was redeemed, they said i should contact wuaki.. not pleased at all.
**update**
google customer service called me back and said order is now on its way!

It auto redeemed but i needed to log into my other google account .

Is this one a rental only? Just noticed it says "movie will be available for 48 hours after purchase" - normally you get to keep the movie in these chromecast deals.

I'll be redeemed to your Google account when you click on the link. If you go through the check out process, you'll notice that the total you'll have to pay is £0. Make sure you're signed into your Google account.

Who did you speak to regarding this? I had the same thing and Wuaki tv told me I had to speak to google, and google told me there's nothing they can do but I should send a screenshot of my order history with google to wuaki... waiting to hear back, but wondering how you dealt with this

I called up google services myself. Don't go for a request a call back or anything else. Straight up call them.
Go to google wallet. from there, remove the previous chromecast from your basket. Now add a chromecast to your basket then proceed to checkout. Mine then came up to 0.00 after discount. There was no need to add a code to it.
