Came across these Fuel 10K Protibricks 24p for 50p, there basically like Weetabix but with more protein. I've never tried them before but the box looks smart and eye catching (pardon the pun!)

these have 15.7g of protein per 100g
weetabix have 12g
serving size is approx 40g
so these give you a whopping 1.48g of protein more per serving....

Look at the box, there's a eye on the box "eye catching", you get it now :stuck_out_tongue:

I didn't buy any of the Protibricks so I'm not aware of any date, it was just something I spotted and thought it was cheap. I wouldn't care if it was a few months out of date if there were, its not purchasing fresh food items like fruit, veg, bread, milk, cooked meat etc. I reckon it would taste the same as they if I'd purchasing them while they were in date!

Good source of fibre, bet they race around your colon, they missed an opportunity with the brand name, should have replaced the first three letters with SHI.

These are fine even if they are over the date code. £2 in Morrisons but even that is cheaper than Weetabix own protein biscuits.

taste horrible like Australian Weet-bix and hardly any more protein than normal Weetabix. Weetabix bringing out a high protein version too

disagree with anyone saying they taste horrible, actually prefer them over regular weetabix.

Love weetabix and got these thinking i wouldnt like the taste and now i prefer them over weetabix i have to have something with weetabix like fruit because they are so bland but with these i can have them on their own because they have a sweeter taste

Just out of interest, but does the Fuel nutrition details include milk, which most 'normal' cereals do on there nutritional info?

Cheap but crap, just eat properly/clean or don't bother training is my view. What you eat is far far more important than how you train. Train as much as you like, if you eat crap you produce crap.

Just marketing nonsense. They have a smidge more protein which won't make the blind bit of diference for most people.

I thought they were really nice.... I like Weetabix but these were just as good. I bought them when they were 99p and thought they were a bargain.... perfect if you have a hoard of kids (or a husband!) who go through cereal like a swarm of locusts!

Why this cereal get bad comments for I don't know. It's 50p per box, 2p per biscuit and are very good compared the majority of cereals on the market.
High protein
Low sugar
Low fat
High fibre
There is one thing missing but this goes for all cereals, the toys you'd get in your cereals packets in the 90's. The days when you'd open the box and rattled around the packet of cereal to find the toy within the cereal, those were the days!

I bought these before (based solely on price) and I wouldn't buy them again. They turn to slop as soon as you pour the milk on and they just don't taste nice.

They taste the same, very useful for me to get early morning protein. The granola is very nice too.
