If you fancy a cheap holiday in May then this is a good budget option to Corfu (Sidari) in May (4-18th) flying from London with Norweigan. This price doesn't include hold luggage but you do get generous baggage with Norweigan so I see no reason why you couldn't get by on hand luggage alone.
Breakdown
Flights £89.20 book at Norweigan
2 weeks in Alexis hotel Sidari book at Alpharooms £115.89
£32.52 Transfers book at Hoppa.com
Total £237.61/£118.80pp

It's ten years since we went at the end of April and it was too cold to go in the sea, and you needed a jacket in the evenings. Also, not everything was open. This was Ipsos. We did go to Sidari, but I can't really remember it. Corfu is very pretty and friendly though and greener than some of the other islands as it's further north.

I wouldn't worry much for the one star hotel, just not sure if the weather will be warm enough to enjoy the sea... for two weeks its dead cheap though..

I am no snob (trust me) but I must be honest, even 1 star hotels are a no from me

travelbot.net have flights for £45 on those same days. Not too sure about staying in that hotel though... :disappointed:
Am sure theres plenty of alternative hotels. Corfu's a lovely island

I have been to Corfu in April and May and it's often still quite cool, which I don't mind. Lovely island though.
