Grabbed one of these today, as well as some Fosters' Rum thingys (£2 off).
I must say CheckoutSmart/Quido supermarket deals are so much better nowadays. Free beer etc always welcome. They used to mainly be rubbish like 20p off some bread or something.
Having said that, a couple of years ago they had a "free £10" offer

Happened on my account too. It can say paid on the activity but it doesn't show in my balance until a few days later.
Just need to keep an eye on it when you cash out, and look at the breakdown on the payout page and check all clip snap items are listed.

This has happened to me too more than a couple of times, but with careful tally of the sums no cash was actually missing, rather it's a mistake on their part listing the status as paid when it actually is confirmed or sometimes it's just tracked and in a couple of days it moves to payable. It's a rather new problem, they must have changed something and it makes it very frustrating at times.

Thanks KiKai. The most recent ones were the Optiwell and the Amstel from around a month ago. They say "Paid" on the http://www.quidco.com/activity/clicksnap page – but they were never actually paid into my Quidco balance!
I don't know if it's just a glitch on my account, but I'm sure I read on MSE about it happening to other people. It's people with busy Quidco accounts that need to be vigilant, because small amounts like £1.50 can go unnoticed amid lots of other transactions.

13 Apr 16#69
You've really got to keep an eye on Quidco ClickSnap. There is a black hole in their system whereby claims go to "Paid" on the ClickSnap Activity page, but the sums never appear in your overall Quidco balance, so can't be withdrawn.
This has just happened to me for the 4th time; I'm sick and tired of having to navigate through their help pages to raise a ticket. I wonder what is happening to all this money when people don't notice this is happening, or don't bother to raise a ticket?

Oh wow I've never noticed that on my account as I am super vigilant and check everytime a reward is paid. 4 times that's terrible, hope you get your money after all the hassle...

Nothing to worry about as long as you have purchased the correct product you will get your cashback. They've probably just got a backlog of receipts to process plus it's the weekend. I'm sure you'll get confirmation tomorrow sometime..

Agree, it's very poor.
As a freebie, make a shandy (or would that be wasting lemonade?) or use for cooking.

8 Apr 16#52
Just a question. The fosters rum offer shows half price and £2 on it. Does that mean that you get £2 cashback or that you get it for £2? My local tesco have these reduced to clear for £2.25 so wouldnt mind a 4 pack for 25p.
montygill to mangomonkey
8 Apr 16#53
Mangomonkey - DO NOT buy them as they will not classify for the cashback from checkoutsmart as according to terms and conditions items reduced in price are not eligible,
KiKai to mangomonkey
8 Apr 16#57
It means you will get £2 cashback. As long as when this item is scanned it doesn't say reduced on the receipt then you will be able to claim the £2 cash back and enjoy them for 25p...

If the offer said 3 claims then yes you could've done that but not in this case as it says 1 claim. So you can claim 1 per app...

(Besides not valid at Aldi!)
KiKai to Quadrille
8 Apr 16#35
I guess the only downside for some people is getting to the minimum payout threshold of £19.99 and incurring a 5% fee or no fee £20+. Also what can be very irritating is when they pull an offer early. Besides that Checkoutsmart is all good...

One receipt with one product scanned as stating "toothpaste" or similar on the receipt, on the app when you claim you have an option to "claim 6 times" with numbers from 1 to 6, tap 6 and upload your receipt. And to answer your second question, yes you can.
Easier done when the receipt states the product as something generic (in the case I stated, "toothpaste". You could get three toothpastes with the receipt stating each as " toothpaste " and because chackoutsmart has three £1.50 off colgate claim 6 times offers on you could claim 6 times for each using the same receipt and get £27 cashback (but I would recommend doing this with three separate receipts and claiming the three offers separately))

8 Apr 16#16
Is that 6 individual transactions? So 6 individual receipts? I was wondering if I went to tesco, purchased two products that are on the checkout smart app for free (different products) can I still claim for both only having 1 receipt?
hass123
8 Apr 161#14
Or take advantage of a glitch where you get an item cheaper but the receipt description is similar or the same as the freebie. For example this week's toothpaste offer (Colgate £1.50 of, claim 6 times) just get some other toothpaste and as long as the receipt states "toothpaste" or similar to Colgate claim 6 times and when processed get £1.50 x 6 = £9 cashback. Also with items on CheckoutSmart which state "all varieties" or "all products" take a gamble and claim for those aswell

Hi. Thanks for the deal, but could you please explain how to use this app to get cashback? Do I have to buy the item on its own, then take a pic of receipt and upload or could I simply buy all the free stuff from asda in one purchase, take a pic of receipt and get cash back from multiple items in one go? Thanks.
KiKai to skik08
8 Apr 161#3
Hi skik08, if all the products are available for cash back from Asda then yes you can purchase them all on one receipt and claim them all at the same time. You simply purchase your goods and upload your receipt using the in app process...
Opening post
Hope you all enjoy this freebie... :)
