Well it depends on your application. A 22/K2 is a lot deeper than a type 21 so comes further out from the wall so is not desirable for a hallways, walkway or place where the side profile is in sight.
There is no need to fit a larger capacity radiator than is required for the particular placement just because one has a higher output. Depending on the layout of your system increasing the heat output of one radiator can reduce the output of others, so unless there is a problem it is best to stick with a like for like replacement of what is there.

They can look ugly and I've found that replacing old style non convector double panels just with single panel convectors is sufficient in most rooms in my house and look a lot neater.

Just bought a new Rad... and saw this mentioned on the Screwfix website (would have missed it otherwise). SO the offer is still on until September apparently.
