I'm sure sure why vegetarians would want to give their business to McDonald's or Burger King, if I'm honest.

Is it only me or Macdonalds burgers shrunk a bit again? Bigmac is more like mini mac these days... Do they think its a french market here or what? Fed up holding their burgers with two fingers  BK burgers are a lot better value to be honest now...

Fries are cooked in separate vats which are a different temperature to the other vats. All times are computer controlled so other products would not be able to be cooked on there. There are no veggie cheese bites, only chilli cheese bites. The only product advertised as vegetarian is the veggie burger as it is not fried.

their chips not even suitable for vegetarians. something I think they should clearly advertise

Simple, be a responsible parent. Most folks know that having fast food everyday is never a good thing but it's OK once in a long while. Why is that folks don't take any accountability & responsibilities for their own actions? That right, blame everyone. BK made me do it with a Whopper.

Not accordingly to supervision of one and manager of other BK. Even veggie cheese bites are cooked in same oil.

Sure it's a choice for me, but what about all those kids brought in by their parents? They'll grow up unhealthy and sick and the rest of us will have to foot the bill.
But if this is the best you want for your kids, help yourself!
Not to mention they have destroyed the labour market by taking workfare slaves from the DWP.
So, no! I'm not apologetic. I hate fast food chains with a passion and I leave it to the gullible to defend them.

If vegetarians avoided every place which served meat or fish products there would be very few places they could go.
You have to remember vegetarians aren't single people living in a basement, they are have families, friends and like to socialise as much as the next person.
If their friends or family wants a McDonald's or burger king they should drop them off at the door drive 10+ minutes down the road eat alone, then drive back and collect them?
I'll admit about the only time I go to McDonald's is if its a motorway trip (only reasonablely priced and decent meal you can get at a service station) or it's super late and they are the only place open.
It's just not as black and white as you seem to think.

Some franchises, including Unionburger in Swansea and Cardiff, downright refuse to accept this if you've purchased one of their special offer £1.49 burgers such as the Big King, or are using it in conjunction with the free Whopper receipt survey promotion.

I've always found BK overpriced, just like KFC. Your best bet is to buy a BK chicken burger or Cheeseburger for 99p and get the regular fries free. I think a cheeseburger & fries for 99p is a good deal considering its BK.

.....so 99p for a single Cheeseburger, and using BOGOF 2 double cheeseburgers for £3.99 equivalent to £1.99 each which just happens to be about double the cost of the single cheeseburger.....so whoever does the pricing obviously knows about the BOGOF offers and priced it in....just saying !

Without these offers, BK is a complete ripp-off. A whopper and a tea should not cost anywhere near over £5. The one near us opened about a year ago and is struggling to stay open.

They are a complete rip off, just went to use the BOGOF voucher on double cheeseburgers till i realised they are £3.99!!!
£3.99 for a double cheeseburger!!
99p for a normal cheeseburger or £3.99 for a double, who the feck does the pricing structure in BK!!!

Licensed to serve alcohol, not cooked food. So pubs/bars are legally obliged to provide free tap water if they serve alcoholic drinks, it's one of the terms of the licence.

I was in Burger King last night and a customer was complaining about waiting times. He had a veggie burger and was told that vegetarian options are cooked to order, so they can be cooked separately to meat products. I'm not a vegetarian but I assume this is nationwide.

According to an article I read recently, on BBC I think, if you ask for tap water all licenced establishments are obliged to provide it free of charge, I don't know what it means by licenced, but I think it's licenced to serve cooked food.
