​It's a shop run by cadburys where you can buy chocolate for four times the price you can buy it at a supermarket!

I find it odd when people claim their wages have risen by the same 150% in last 20 years.
I also find it odd when I say to my mum she is lucky that she paid 20k for her house that's worth 300k 25 years later and she says "yes but it's all relative because wages were lower then too" well if that's comparaitive then I believe i should be earning about 600k a year. my employer does not feel the same way.

are these just the normal chocolate ones or is also the caramel ones as well?

its a proper shop but mainly in retail parks and not in high streets. meant to be discounted stock being sold, but I find cadbury outlets sell most product for higher than the supermarkets. however in this case, this particular item is a good price.

They also sell "chocolate mis-shapes" broken choc from the production line for £3.99 for a good size bag. the only thing is that its random and pure luck what you get.

I need the chocolate deals to stop .... Far too tempting... Heat added btw , :wink:

it's essentially the same, used to be called Taz as in Tasmanian Devil but then changed it a few years back to caramel Freddo.

I was at Dalton Park outlet earlier. No cheaper there. In fact not a deal to be had in the Cadbury outlet.

And I forget to mention the outgoings have risen massively disproportionately in the same time too making that 150 more like 500% or more in real terms. Gas and electric up by about a thousand percent in that period. it's all relative though. is it bollx

Yet the shop is still rammed with lunatics thinking they're getting a bargain. Dalton Park had easter eggs that the supermarkets sold prior to easter for a quid marked up at £2 today.

I was about the same but I was 19 getting about £2.50 a hour (and im 33 now) used to really annoy me as I was barely covering the rent the landlord charged £75 a week inclusive for a room in a caravan that I might only get home at 10.30 at night and be up at 7am for work and was overpaying tax which I was conned out of getting back by tax people, I remember doing almost 60 hours a week maybe more in shifts and still getting under £70 a week left after rent and tax.

Anyway onto Freddo's they have shrunk in size over the years the caramel ones even worse.

I worked in a holiday park chain, lets just say they had people as young as 13 working in the cafe (but a hour or two a week)

It was just a bit of a joke mate, apparently in China at the factories where they manufacture iPhones etc. they work 100 hours a week for $3 and stuff, I'm sure it's not that bad anywhere here.

£2.49 for a pack of 12 at Cheshire Oaks. Didn't see any packs of 6. A 6-pack of Caramel Freddos was 75p.

40 years a Cadbury's chocolate fan, but now i do not eat it anymore because it tastes like kak.
So disappointed with Kraft foods, lower quality products.
