Hey this is my first deal so hope I've filled it in correctly.
The deluxe edition of this game is currently only available in the UK directly from Square Enix, or exclusively from Game. Both priced at £69.99.
Because it's a Game exclusive in the UK it's very unlikely the deluxe edition will show up cheaper for pre order online or in store any where else, as it's not being sold anywhere but GAME.
Amazon France are selling it for 69.99 Euros, which is the equivalent of £54.35!!
Including delivery it's £56.87 so that's just over £13 cheaper. :)
Game is released 30th September 2016.
Final Fantasy XV DELUXE EDITION includes the following additional content:
Exclusive Steelbook with illustrations by legendary Yoshitaka Amano, unique to this edition of the game
Bluray Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV - Discover the feature film action-packed images synthesis! Kingsglaive tells the story of King Regis, while Final Fantasy XV follows the journey of Prince Noctis. These two stories intersect to create a moving picture showing the father's fate and that of the son.
As bonus content in numerical format:
Weapon: Masamune (FFXV view)
Decoration: platinum Leviathan for Regalia,
Royal Costume Noctis inspired by the holding of King Regis.

This may be a stupid question but I'm assuming as it'll be imported from France, the box art/language will be in French?

It should be exactly the same as the UK. With special editions it's usually one version for the whole of Europe. The box art is identical to the one the UK is getting, down to being rated by PEGI.
So there should be no difference  (There's barely any writing on the box anyway apart from the name of the game, as it's covered in the artwork)
Edit to say, the language will pick up on whatever language your console is and automatically set itself to that. Also, the sleeve of the game may be in French but the steel book should be English.

Good value if you want all the physical bits abs pieces but worth noting you can grab a digital deluxe key online far cheaper

Yeah but the whole point of the deluxe edition is for the steelbook covered in Amanos art, and a physical blue ray of the movie.
What is included in the digital deluxe version? What would be the point? In fact I'm pretty sure there's no digital deluxe version.
(Could be wrong though, but I think the digital pre order is just the normal game with a couple of dlc items)

Sorry i thought this was ffxiv - wasn't paying enough attention, clearly. Please ignore me, ofc there is no digital deluxe version of ffxv.

how sure are you, about this?
I brought The Order: 1866 limited edition from Amazon France a while back
and all the box was in French.

Was it the steelbook? I would say I am 50% sure, as the steel books I have for The Order, and Driveclub from Amazon Germany are in English, and usually the Nintendo special edition stuff (Like Fire Emblem and Zelda) is the same across Europe.
I guess the sleeve over the top of the steel book may be in French, but there might not even be a sleeve.
Here is an image from Amazon France
I guess it's hard to say for definite, but the artwork is one of the selling points of the Deluxe edition so hopefully there's not much writing on the box anyway.

Here is the UK version from Square Enix themselves

It's Amazon. They always charge on despatch, not before.

Probably not, as it comes from France. Still, there's always a chance.

It'll only be a day or two later. Or maybe they'll just cancel it at that last minute like those hundreds of Xenoblade Chronicles X LE orders, including mine.

Although the steelbook looks cool but I'll pass. The extra you pay is not worth it.

I have a £20 gift voucher for Amazon, would it work when ordering from the French store? I suspect not since I assume I need an Amazon FR account which will be completely separate to the UK site.

Amazon France accounts are separate to UK ones unfortunately.

I really don't get the hate for 13, I consider it one of the best for replay value alongside 9 & 10.

It's a game exclusive though? You can't buy/pre order it from those places now, and won't be able to in the future because of that. Same reason it's not for sale on the Amazon UK site.

It was a massive disappointment, a boring, cluttered and weak plot wrapped around a corridor to corridor style game with no exploration till you're 20 hours + into it, and lest we forget, awful awful characters.

I loved final fantasy 7-9 (x was okay) but I don't think I'll pre-order this, although I do have high hopes. Maybe this will be amazing and this edition will sell out and be worth loads but I just don't think it will. Not voted either way as its the best deal for this edition at the moment.

There was a 10% preorder discount code for Game website floating about recently, expires 30th April.Might be worth a go to shave a few quid off.

It's not exclusive to game in the UK, you can buy it from the square Enix European store (in English!)

If you order this from France it will be in French (packaging anyway) as they do localise the packaging language in the EU

Sometimes, certain other UK retailers have been able to source English stock from other channels. I've yet to see this from The Game Collection, but Gamestop (via their Irish operations, I believe), Coolshop (via the Netherlands), Gameseek and Simply Games have all had such listings for certain items in the past. It's not something that can be guaranteed to happen for any given item, though.
GAME's UK exclusives are generally exclusive to them and the publisher's own store, where one exists. It's the same with Nintendo's releases.
That was "PREORDER10", wasn't it? I think that's now expired.

Are you sure of that? the FF14 ARR LE was all in French: Cover, manuals, there was a blu-ray included with it and it was french voiceover with no way to change the language as far as I could tell, etc (except for the game)

Sean Bean, Lena Headey and Aaron Paul are just some of the voice cast for the movie. It will have English audio.
