This was my first FF and will always be my favourite followed by 7. This just captured my attention and the card game oh the card game <3 Would take that over blitz ball any other day of the week! I just wish they had this for the PS vita for gaming on the go

I got excited then and thought you meant the menu/ui :disappointed: lol
Soon as there is a mod for that I will buy it!

I think you are failing to see my point of them holding value regardless of their age, so lets just leave it at this.
Yeah, sitting up there with a 20% discount available for the last six months and 50% off every steam sale :smirk:

What are you using there to track the pricing?

I couldn't agree more. I hate a lazy port, but I love the game....

Yup exactly, look at the average over the last 3 years. Still sitting up there.

Strange, yes I have 7 and 8 on steam. I kept those 2 because the menus remained nice lol. I am such a fuss pot but tbh it's not much to ask for a menu to not take 1/4 of my screen height :P

Whether it's possible for someone to mod in analog control, I guess not, apparently FF8 has same issue despite being out for how many years.

Really, haha. I don't get why the ported the android version to pc. Would of thought they would do PC first. Guess they going after the mobile market

I wanted this so bad but the lazy ports are doing my head in. I am a UI nut and apparantly this uses the mobile UI...BLEURGH, when that happens on a big screen it looks horrid. I'll be waiting for some screenshots before I buy and this price is way too high imo. Anyone who buys, post the UI please haha
Yer it's not that offensive IMO but I do prefer the original. What is slightly annoying is that the game doesn't have analog control, only digital 8 way movement.

Isn't this cheaper at Green Man Gaming by about £2?

I totally agree... the first time I bought them. But 10-20 years after I first bought them, fancying having them again on my current computer this pricing makes no sense to me to purchase. They've far recouped development costs and extracted a very healthy profit from them. I'm honestly shocked people pay these prices for them in enough numbers they can carry on charging it.

It's a close second to FFVII in my opinion, very close!

It's cheaper on Green Man Gaming with 20APR code, around a tenner. Just got it myself  Installing, can't wait as loved this game. (Stacks on top of their 20% default discount).

That is on a 32" monitor, fixed 4:3 ratio as this can't be changed.

14 Apr 16#15
hmm ok not as bad as I thought...what size monitor and resolution?
I just don't like how big the menu and items are, it takes a quarter of the screen height lol
I'm on a 4k 28" monitor so I donno how bad it's gonna look for me
It's just covering half the game area - whyyyy lol
jonboyuk

I don't think it looks that bad at all!

Even with discounts these games are shameless price gouges.

It's well known the pricing for the FF series rarely comes down at all. But for the amount of content and the time spent to actually complete them outweighs the pricing. Great game, worth every penny.

It's on so many platforms now. It's annoying the save games don't translate from one to another... SEnix really should consider this.

Yea I know whatcha mean.... although on sale I feel it's slightly inflated too!

This needs to come to ps4 with trophies asap. VIII would also be a welcome addition.
