I've just gone on to the sky website to do the usual of cancelling my sky sports as the season ends in a few weeks. Usually you have to ring up to cancel but if you hit 'my package' there's 2 links. Cancel sky sports and cancel multiscreen. Hitting either and hitting next takes you to an offer to reduce sky sports to £14.75 a month for 6 months and multiscreen £5 off for 6 months. Personally I cancelled sports anyway but took the £5 off multiscreen. Hope this helps a few people. It saved me £5 a month with just a few clicks.
I did this on my fathers account too and it was the same so shouldn't be account specific.

Not exactly a deal this has been posted in the Misc quite often.

On My Package I hit ‘Cancel Sky Multiscreen’ and then get a page asking why?
On this second page I select ‘I'm trying to save money on my bill’ and hit ‘’Next’
I then get a third page called ‘It won't be the same without you. Thanks for trying Sky Multiscreen. We hope you've been pleased with it’ with a load of details on the benefits of Multiscreen and the options to either ‘Keep Sky Multiscreen’ or ‘Cancel Sky Multiscreen’
Should I have had the offer yet or do I need to continue and press ‘Cancel Sky Multiscreen’ to go to a fourth page?

Worked for me...twice
I got £5 off my HD for 6 months, and £5 off Multi Screen for 6 months.
That £10 per month saving will more than offset the Sky price rise on June 1st
Voted hot!

£15 a month is still a shocking price , especially for those that subscribe solely for Football which will be gone from June to August.

I Have Sky Sports, but I can't see an option to cancel it online. Whereabouts on the page should it be?
I have the following options: Thanks

20 Apr 16#13
Go to 'my Package' and under your subscriptions it says 'I'm thinking of changing my subscription'

Hmmn, OK it must be different for different users, as I only have those options as mentioned. i.e. "Change my Sky Talk package", "Cancel HD and Box Sets" or "Thinking of cancelling your Sky Broadband, Talk & Line Rental?"
Oh well.

That's strange. You're not on some kind of all inclusive bundle or in the 1st 12 months are you ? I haven't got broadband or line rental with them. Don't know if that makes a difference. Give them a call and tell them someone you know has got the deal and you want it to. Or try the live chat if it's working as someone on here has suggested. Worth a try if you have the time.

Worked for me, I declined their first offer for movies as it was still too much, but I accepted the 2nd offer as I didn't want to push my luck as I was happier with this offer.
Anyone declined 2nd offer and been offered another? Might be handy to know for the future.

It dies get annoying when someone posts a deal & then starts whinging about cold votes before anyone's been read it.
That almost guarantees coldness.
Its a good thread with detailed info...just let it run its course

i have had sky for half price for the last 8 years. Just need to cancel the whole lot and wait for the offers which normally appear immediately.
Also got free broadband and a 100 quid credit when i asked for my mac code to go to bt sport.
as an aside i also get bt sport half price and pay 10 quid for racing uk , normal price is 22.50.
No one should ever pay full price for telly.

go on chat then say you want to cancel the lot and they'll soon be offering you huge discounts to stay for another year. I got the full package £50 credit to my bill and a brand new 1tb box for £32 a month.

We cancelled a few weeks ago it goes off on the 31st and they haven't offered anything ! Better start looking for a new broadband provider ! We'll be happy with NowTV ! This offer also happens when you cancel now tv , I went to cancel movies and it offered us 3.99 for 4 months so less than half price !

Just tried this for the "cancel sky fibre unlimited" and got it for £10 a month for the next 12 months instead of the £20 I'm paying now! Thanks op
went through questions of why I wanted to leave, I said I was going with someone else with a better offer and they gave me that offer above. Will try with the hd and multi room later as currently that's not working. Thanks

I also cancelled a couple of weeks ago and had no good offers to stay from them. They offered a £10 discount on my £120 a month bill at the time of cancellation but I thought it wasn't good enough and continued to cancel. They just said 'sorry to see you go'

I got TV (everything they offer including Sports and Movies in HD), broadband and phone for £33.99 a month instead of £110 a month. At one point it lowered to £29 but the line rental went up. This is a 12 month contract aswell and did it by haggling and complaining and is easier than you think

Sky is clearly under pressure. I've just cancelled but refuse to break the law and pirateview via kodi. But even without stealing, I get awesome content via freesatHD and Netflix for a few quid and Amazon. I ***do*** want to watch sport but can't justify 50£ pm

We pay £2.50 a month for multiroom and will continue to do so. I hate the different prices per user.
It would be better just to lower and fix all prices so everyone can afford it.

I think you can cancel at anytime still, it says upon completion:
Sky TV customers only. Sky Multiscreen with £5.00 off a month for 6 months (currently £6.25 a month). After your 6 month offer period ends you will pay the standard applicable price for Sky Multiscreen (currently £11.25 a month). You may cancel your subscription at any time by giving us at least 31 days' notice. Taking this offer will replace any existing Sky Multiscreen offer on your account.

Just ask, I was on £9.99 introductory offer and rang up when the offer ended to cancel and said I can't justify £23.99 a month. They changed it to £9.99 a month forever and gave me 6 months free. Sky and BT seem very reasonable to negotiate with.

Very nice indeed. I'm one of the ones who get good sky deals and regularly cancel and get a better one but never had bt due to there never being any deals. It's all cancelled down now due to the season finishing in a few weeks but need a mega deal on sky and bt.
