Duracell alkaline batteries are suitable for a wide range of high drain electronic devices to include audio players, digital cameras, toys, torches, CD and MP3 players etc.

Poundland seem to have an increasing number of items that are more than a £1. Inevitable I suppose.

They come out really well in the tests, only a tiny bit less than XTralifes so definitely good value. 95p for 8 makes them better value than than when you only get 6 of Kodaks.

It's a good deal but they didn't seem to last as long for me

I would recommend the Kodak xtralife AA alkaline 6 pack batteries in poundland which are a pound. Works out. There is a good battery comparison site which puts these at the top of the charts, much better than the Duracell's plus you get 6 more for same money.

Yep - these Duracells are absolutely rubbish get the Kodak Xtralife ones if you're in there. Avoid all the other Sony, non-Xtralife Kodaks and other cack as they're zinc carbon and even with 18 in the pack you'll get less than what you'd get from the Xtralifes.

If you are thinking of buying these you can get 10 Duracell industrials from Amazon or EBay for around £3 these are the power plus ones which are much better than these ones from poundland/world which are really Duracell basic battery.
