I wonder if Sony will still update for VR. They do still have a small team working on DriveClub, even though Evolution is now closed. And as they had been showing off DriveClub VR at the press events, it would seem as an add on feature to the game it is pretty much done already.
Has anyone been to VR press events since the closure with the DriveClub VR demo still being used?
This was one of the features I was looking forward to when the headset is released in October. I have the £50 Thrustmaster T150 deal all ready to add to the sense of realism, so really don't want to miss out on it now they closed the studio down. Gran Turismo will have VR, but GT games are as dull as my wife's underwear drawer!!!

No, this is just for all the season pass content for the game. Though I believe the full game is currently £6.49 on PSN, though that maybe just if you have PS+

A serious amount of content in this, slowly chipping away at it. Hopefully the devs still see some of the future sales now they've been closed by Sony. Seems unlikely though.

A first-party dev unit that is no longer employed is not entitled to continued payment.
Anyway, great deal. BUT..... One has to wonder for how long the online service of the game will last. Sony has a skeleton crew on it now, for maintaining and such, but publishers (including Sony) have a knack for soon closing up shop on online modes. This is especially true for titles that are no longer being developed for, and even more true for titles that no longer have an active developer behind it.

In its current state it is an excellent and fun game, the worry is Sony pull the plug fairly soon. It would have been a great game to get an update covering VR.

Not sure on VR with driveclub. I think I'd get a better experience with Project Cars who have already announced morpheus support. Driveclub is fun, but it seems overkill playing it with a wheel and VR

I always thought the season pass was a rip off. Buy the pass, here "complete a lap of this track (that you already have) in under 1 minute". Get a star! - its not exactly extra content.
Seems good value for the Cars though.

All these Driveclub offers are confusing me!
If I want Driveclub, the season pack and also the bikes will these two suffice :
Driveclub Full game, plus season pass £7.99
Driveclub Full game, Bikes expansion £6.49
Easter offers end tonight so need to be snappy

The season pass doesn't include all the dlc (that's not even referring to the bikes dlc). It can actually be quite confusing what's included and what isn't. Not a slight on the price, but just warning people that it doesn't include all the events and extra cars.

The messed up royally by releasing the game too early and unfinished. That gave it a poor reputation. They fixed it (much) later, but few gamers cared by then.
Same as Capcom with SFV.

Personally, I'd be shocked if that happened. They only gave away the PS+ version last year, and haven't turned off any other PS4 games. I don't even remember any major PS3 games they've turned off lately.

This seems good for £5.
I bought the disc copy for £15 a couple of months ago and the Bikes expansion for £8 a couple of weeks back.
£28 all in isn't the best value out there but for the full game, the bikes game and the season pass it's pretty good considering Jungle Strike cost me £45 back in the Megadrive days ; )

Just downloaded everything the SP entitles you to an hour or so ago, it's pretty decent for £4.99.
There are still a few things to pay for but with the amount on the SP there's really no point - with the Bikes, the SP and the original game it's pretty much unfinishable now in terms of content. Good deal.

PS Plus has actually saved this game IMO. It's so cheap for us to buy at the moment, that having never played it first time round, with how polished it and how genuinely GOOD it is to play, it's a great shame Sony shut the studio. Sounds similar to how EA treat their studios

Missed this deal last it was on around Christmas time so bought now. Loads of content but you can help feeling a lot if this should have been included in the original game anyway.

I have Nuclear Strike on the N64, that's basically the same game but with the expansion pak it looked great in its day. Still great games and I loved Urban Strike - probably my favourite out of the three in fact.
There's a guy on Ebay who does N64 Everdrive style emulators for £80 and it's on there along with about 240 other titles. I bought one in January along with a Megadrive version with 600 odd MD titles on it and they're all exactly as you'd remember them. Great if you're not willing to spend thousands or if you don't really care about having things boxed with instructions.

Yes it's yours to keep. The 'season' refers to the amount of time the creators release content not the amount of time you keep it.
