I don't think it would run. Not to mention it's about 40gb.

Same. Only reason I bought it, usually not that into racing games so figured I'd give it a shot. Didn't enjoy it too much from what I tried, but granted I haven't given it much of a chance. Hopefully they add Vive support to give me a reason to.

Bought this and can't get it to work on windows 10. Tried the steam fix but nothing. Just get error code 41 on startup. Anyone else have the same?

I'm running it on ultra, personally don't think the graphics are all that but that's not really what I bought this particular game for. Using it with the G920 from last week's deals and bloody hell is it hard to get used to

Yeah it's a good looking game and you don't need a high end PC to run it at ultra settings

17GB update today and not a high res texture to be seen. Great gameplay and handling, but this game looks like a*se. Really poor looking game (not surprising given its the same engine they used on Xbox 360), lucky the rest of it makes up for it.
Worth it at this price if you're after a decent rally sim despite the graphics.

You might want to check your settings or upgrade your PC, it looks spectacular on mine.

it does use the older EGO engine 3.0 but i have it on PC DSR 4K res on a 970 and it looks mighty fine. Maybe when you crash into those trees in Finland you need to be looking at hi res textures. Im too busy looking to the next corner.:stuck_out_tongue:

They are shipping from the UK you can go to website now and order - but you are very late to the game they have back orders until July

this cost me £16.99 on Early Access on the first day. So this is a decent price

Does the game automatically assume what tyres you want? There are lots of tuning options but nothing for tyres.
Aside from the Germany tracks, it's a very steep learning curve!
My goodness this game is tough but so incredibly rewarding when you finish a stage 1 second ahead of 2nd place, it's nice not to be 2 minutes ahead like most games. this is undeniably tough, extremely unforgiving..... but I love it.
If you like arcade racers that hold your hand and pat you on the back for lapping everyone 3 times......this isn't for you !

And if you add that when they didn't add that American nonsense then it goes all the way back to ps2 days lol
Good times that it's back but it is lackluster no content still

I play on an xbox controller no problems at all.
It's difficult. But I think it's difficult no matter what you use.

VR only supported on 0.8 runtime (DK2)
They haven't updated it to 1.3 (CV1/DK2) so don't go buying it for VR support as of yet.
They've not said anything about updating it either.
Project cars got patched the other day and works fine in rift 1.3

Yes its an incredible amount, not sure why its so large but its also bug fixes and they have added a telemetry option.
As well as the new track these cars have been added :-
– Peugeot 208 T16 Pikes Peak
– Renault 5 Turbo
– Renault Alpine A110
– Opel Corsa Super 1600
– Peugeot 207 S1600
– Renault Clio S1600
– Mini Classic Rallycross

Just bought it so thanks op. Would point out when it registers on steam there is no DLC. Even checking the DLC section of steam says there is currently no DLC for this game?

CDkeys are being a bit dishonest (no surprise there). By DLC they mean the game will include all the content that was added for free since the game's release in early access. Every Dirt Rally owner gets that content.

£22.79 Yesterday at Codemasters now £17.09 at CDKeys what a great price!
Can't stress enough how fun this game is. If anyone of you who purchase the wheel a week ago don't own this already I'd pick it up.
