I was looking forward to ds3, until I read the comments and it reminded me how many times I died in the previous games

Interesting how different people have such different experiences on these games.
Sir Alonne was tough but I didn't find him too bad. Ornstein and Smough probs 2nd hardest for me, followed by Fume Knight. It was the sheer speed and aggression of Manus' attacks that caused me such difficulty; if you mistime your roll by even half a second you're dead. Same for Fume Knight, took me ages to learn his pattern and time it right.

Sir Alonne is a pain because of the path you must take to get to him each time you die. :/

Yeah, he is really quick and hits like a truck aswell, first time I beat him was co op, fume knight was easier solo.
