Managed to get some meantime ipa for £1 and also a case of Sierra Nevada torpedo for £1 each 2 weeks ago, will check at my local tonight.

Cant beat a brewdog ipa, not to fussed on the Innis & Gunn personally.

Tried the tesco finest Brewdog IPA 9.2% a couple of weeks ago, really nice. £1.05 for a nice 9.2% beer is outrageously good value.

Is 9.2% beer not straying into Special Brew territory? You wouldn't want to have too many of them.

Did you see any Fosters on special offer ;-)

Been showing this item for weeks reduced to £1.49, but on putting in basket it remains at full price!

Agree, been once - outstanding. If you back, try Beertje's Beerhouse which is just a couple of minutes walk from the main square.

We're definitely going back, such an easy weekend break, we all like decent beers and there's plenty of walking to be done. have noted Beertje's for our next visit, cheers.

A bit off topic, but as per the previous thread on here, my local had 750ml bottles of Leffe Nectar for £1.50 today.

Also, packs of 4 x 330ml bottles of Sol Mexican Lager for £2.50.

​If you like the Leffe then I hope you grabbed a good few (don't be to greedy) at that price as I certainly would be if only I could find it at that price! The Innis & Gunn large bottles are showing as unavailable on website.
Will be sticking my nose into Tesco later today & see what I can pick up.

I bought it about 2 weeks ago. But funny you say that, I got a bottle of Brewdog "Mr President" from Tesco on Friday, and it was a 9.2% double IPA - I suspect it was the same beer but now Brewdog branded. Must be very new, as on the beer app I use (untappd) I was only the second person to log the beer (the other being only an hour before me and stating it was bought in Tesco). So I highly suspect it's now called Mr President.

Some being the keyword and the beers that can be picked up around £1.50 everywhere.

But the brewdog range other than their ipa and dead pony are usually more along with the Sam Adams specials.

I know tje piston head and Adams can be had for £1.50 everywhere.

I always liked Delirium Tremens bar over a 1000 beers to choose from.

From Wednesday they will also be stocking 3 different cans from Vocation which are well worth the £1.50 each!

I was in Morrisons yesterday and picked up two Brooklyn and two Sierra Nevada - the till discounted them under the usual four for £6 offer - there was nothing on the shelf close to these beers to suggest they were actually in the offer. :smiley:

AB who own Leffe are getting sued by a guy who says the marketing leads you to believe it's an "abbey" brew and he was duped into buying it..And the reality is it's brewed In the same place they knock out Stella .

Also an outstanding bar.

morrisons are selling samuel adams blonde ambition 4.5% for £1.

alas it's brewed under licence by shepherd neame but for £1 it's good value.
