Had one of the turbo fan versions for a few years now.Absolutely brilliant.Heats the room up in minutes.Have it in the living room, ideal for cold mornings or times when you can't justify putting the central heating on (which is usually most times in my house  )

I think I paid twenty for one of these a while back but basically this is the same thing in all but name (GLEN was the one I bought) - great for fast heating a 13x13 lounge -room with 8 foot high ceilings within minutes.
Heat added.

Is that the famous magneto-cat I have been hearing about... lol

Are these expensive to run? I'm trying to compare this type against Halogen. Like mentioned above, will only need it for cold mornings when can't justify putting central heating on!

mine on the 1250kw setting with thermostat turned just past half way costs about 17p an hour, but it all depends how cold it is.I much prefer these to the halogen type.

Great if you live somewhere you have electric included in your rent.
You're not supposed to have them in a halls of residence but you'll be fine.

Lol normally my store has nothing! Do homebase hold the stock when you have reserved it?
shabbird
4 Apr 16#16
yes they do especially with so many in stock. But if it was 1 or 2, then chances are even if it is reserved,
you won't get it when you go to collect. But collect it ASAP

shabbird
4 Apr 16#18
probably if it says in stock. Go early and pick it up. You normally pay
after picking up item anyway.

Keep a eye out http://www.bunnings.com.au the new owner has said to homebase staff it will streamline suppliers and offerings between both, lots of stock to be discontinued and clearance on

Thinking of getting one of these for our summerhouse to take the chill off in the spring/autumn months while we're out there. Will something like this be OK wall mounted on wood?
It's going to be on for half hour at a time at the most, but i'm a bit weary of having them against a wooden wall.

It does say you can mount it against a wall but don't think its a good idea in a wooden environment.

Just another reason to go grrrrrrrrrr as so many of my deals are available for others and not in my
area. Im still sulking at my McCain wedges deal posted few months ago that was not available in
