Just a heads up that Tesco Clubcard Boost starts the 16th May and runs until the 26th June
If you need to earn some more points you have until the 5th May which is the cut off date for the current collection period. Easiest way to get some points is to convert £50 cashback from Topcashback into 5000 Clubcard points (max is 5000 points per year) - worth £100 in the double up
Basic question, do they keep adding new items to the boost ? For example, is there any chance they will add Amazon Fire stick to boost ? If that's the case then I would like to wait
Thanks in advance

Just go on live chat and is done there and then.
If you paid using points they will refund in points to be used in next cycle. If you can pay majority by vouchers and a small amount on card then you should be able to get the refund back to card. Cheers

just wait and see if the price drops again - prices have been pretty poor this week
if it doesn't drop you could take a punt and buy it near the end of the Boost and then if the price drops 28 days post purchase contact customer service to get the difference

No working codes - you could try your luck on live chat and see if they can retrospectively give you the £10 discount given that you wanted to purchase on Sunday but vouchers were not available and now the £10 code TDX-HTNH does not work
Also logic would say that the 500 bonus points offer which finishes wednesday may be replaced by a small price drop in the next 28 days. If this happens then contact customer services for a refund of the difference if you purchase.

saw that
they have been raising prices across the site - trying to make a bit more margin on the assumption that people will be eagerly redeeming their vouchers
only saving grace is that it's a 6 week Boost period and prices will always fluctuate up and down, plus if the price drops within 28 days post purchase on Direct contact customer service to refund the difference

If you add what you want to your basket on the Direct site, make sure it is in the Clubcard boost ( will have a picture of a clubcard in the corner) once you go to checkout it will give you the option to add your vouchers and automatically boost them for you

depends what you want to boost on
direct items (non tv gaming tablets and whatever else i missed) is done auto on check out at the bottom with the payment it will say use culbcard vouchers or something like that, use click the ones you want to use
tho best to wait to mid next week, so the newest voucher get added to your culbcard accounts since they havent been yet, unless theys a offer ending or a voucher code ending that you cant wait to use
also a full list tho with mistakes some funny ones of whats in and what out
clothing whats included CD,s cos lots of people ware CD's dont they
just to list a few of the mistakes on that funny list, tho all in all its really bad for a last boost, no gaming no tv and no online f&F

Excellent bought 2x cooling towers, sander and £40 pre-release PC game using Tesco discount code and double up vouchers, total cost £2.50!!!!!
Roll on May vouchers already posted out from Tesco yay!!!
As this can be combined with the discount code I have done the following:
1. Add 5*£15 vouchers to the basket - total £75
2. Use discount voucher TDX-HTNH to save £10 when you save £75 - subtotal £65
3. Pay the balance using Boosted Clubcard points.
So £75 (to spend on Xbox media including games/films/music) for £32.50 in Clubcard vouchers, c/w free home delivery. I hope this is of use to someone else!
NB - This only works with the £15 vouchers - other denominations are excluded from the Boost.

Heads up for anyone that hasn't noticed yet, boost has gone live already a day early which means the tesco direct codes at the top of the page can still be used in conjunction with the boost! Saved myself an extra £20 off some ps4 pre orders.
Save £10 when you spend £75 or more.

Any help? :disappointed:
WARNER107 to chompyrud
4 May 161#161
Hi. after 5th May they will be sent to you in the form of vouchers to the nearest £1. It will be about 1 to 2 weeks. With the boost you take them to customer services where you can double up multiples of £5 to £10. Any amount left over is added back to your account. You can then exchange in store in the departments mentioned at the start of this post. Change is not given so make sure to spend total amount. If using Tesco Direct any vouchers can be doubled at checkout as long as it is on items included in boost. This is the last in store and on line boost. Vouchers can be used for up to 4x value for days out, restaurants, zoos, London attractions. See Tesco website for what is included. Hope this helps.

Well without this I won't be using Tesco anymore, I don't much anyway but they've got really stingy with the points. I realised yesterday looking at my statement that the CC only pays out on a transaction basis, so if its less than £8 you get nothing, since that's most of what I spend it isn't really worth using anymore.
They got rid of the Papa Johns vouchers which we used and now the Boost, will cash in my £40 of vouchers this time around I think

3 May 16#151
Inclined to agree. I've received barely any points in the last few months. Seems I was a sucker for the money off and extra points coupons they used to send me and as a result I'm not shopping there as much. The CC changes and the fact my 0% period is about to end on that card mean I'll probably just ditch it so no points from that source either.

^not about chasing profits, more downsizing and damage limitation methinks.
My local has gone from being a great big essential place to shop to a scaled down rubbish version of its former self.
Don't even venture into the top floor since they shifted the electrical department downstairs and ruined that department in itself also, just an unorganised mess on that half of the store now.

mine too. Instead of being competitive they've just scrapped all the nice things I used I used to buy and taken on the appearance of an Aldi inside. All the special offers are designed to catch you out, never any staff anywhere to speak to and hugely overpriced own brands to make up for brand match.

Wouldn't be surprised at all, they have been steadily reducing the amount of offers available in store in recent months, and now an end to Clubcard Boost. Scrapping Clubcard altogether seems a logical step for them.
Seems to be about chasing profits now and making more out of existing customers rather than attracting extra customers.

i got a letter too and my question is ...is there going to be a point in the future where they stop handing out points for your shop? And do you have to use or lose, it says the 'boost event' is ending but is clubcard points ending or changing in value? Or are they going to still do points in the same way with just different boost options? At the end of the day none of us wants to loose points we have earnt, even if we spend points in the last boost it still may leave us with points when you consider we will earn points of food shops during the boost period? They need to make these points clearer. If they stop doing points and/or in the points earned in the last month become void or change in value I'll shop somewhere else.

Yes. You can leave the money in your Clubcard account. You will be able to access them as voucher codes throughout the year, so could use them at their face value if you wanted. I believe you can also boost via Tesco partners, days out/travel/restaurants etc, at any time in the year as well. So you could turn that £50 into £200 worth of Pizza Express vouchers during non Tesco Boost times. Or, do as you wish, and wait till Xmas and x2 on some Xmas prezzies and the like.
cool..!! another stupid question.. lets assume I paid out £50 from TCB.. so ideally i will have £50 in clubcard... now i will option to boost to 2X during this period.. if i dont want to do it now and want to save during x-mas time.. can i keep that £50 in clubcard just like that?

Am I right in thinking that they done 4 x boost (ie £10.00 = £40.00) around Christmas time?

No. Always 2x, the 4x is reserved for stuff like restaurant vouchers etc.

You say you would not benefit if this was nonsense. What if you work for Tesco "high-up" and need a strong month in May? How many folks have now been on the Tesco site after seeing this and eyed up what they want, parents told their kids they will be getting this and that....boost fails to show so they just buy anyway (if they've not already). Sounds like someone who works "high-up" in Tesco would have a lot to gain from spinning nonsense. Hope it's true though.

This is my thinking too. They're losing their market share to Aldi and Lidl, mucking about with Clubcard would risk alienating their most loyal customers. There's a lot of 'reliable tip-offs' on this site, just look at the last boost that was supposed to come in February...

Do you really feel the need to keep quoting and replying over and over and over to the same comment left by different members repeating the same thing but adding a few extra words every time.
You not got anything better to do, you had a tip off, Tesco PLC have yet to post anything resembling what you are spouting but not arguing over. Tesco as a business are still struggling due to past issues and would be killing their business in an instant and any market share they hold by doing this without any prior warning or notice. Seen as they are still running their Clubcard Christmas Saver Scheme for 2016 which is one of thee reasons people use this scheme to boost at Christmas like they have done for many many years, would it not seem wise that they made these savers aware!
From your many repetitive replies it seems like you do indeed wish for an argument and debate, albeit with yourself that is.

Have you linked your Tesco clubcard with your account ? If yes , the reason could be that your cash back payout can't be made through that means. Some Coys are excluded from Tesco clubcard payout.

how do you exchange topcashback for Tescoclub card points?
"First of all, make sure you have a Tesco Clubcard. Go to the My Profile section of your Account, then Payment Details and fill in your Clubcard number to request your cashback payout. We can then transfer your cashback onto your Tesco Clubcard and Tesco will send you your vouchers in your Tesco Clubcard statement at regular intervals during the year. "
A few things to add:
- a small number of merchants don't allow cashback paid out in clubcard points which are usually in the t's and c's
- the maximum annual conversion is £50 cashback for 5000 Clubcard points
- If you have more than £50 cashback from one merchant, unfortunately Topcashback does not allow you to split it. Only slight workaround is donating to charity to get the amount to £50 or under
- Most commonly the people who question if Clubcard points payout is still working on TCB, their Cubcard details have been forgotten and just need to add the number to their Topcashback profile again

Thanks in advance
so if i use them instore will i not be able to use my £9.50 voucher? thank you
Such a shame it's the last Boost at Tesco this time.
If you paid using points they will refund in points to be used in next cycle. If you can pay majority by vouchers and a small amount on card then you should be able to get the refund back to card. Cheers
if it doesn't drop you could take a punt and buy it near the end of the Boost and then if the price drops 28 days post purchase contact customer service to get the difference
Scroll down to see the £329 offer, which is still valid. I did use the £20 off £150 spend code, and used £20 of vouchers to double up to £40, hence the price of £269. Click and collect to save £3

Also logic would say that the 500 bonus points offer which finishes wednesday may be replaced by a small price drop in the next 28 days. If this happens then contact customer services for a refund of the difference if you purchase.
cheers
I also considered an infrared heater for the garden decking, it's now not even listed, never mind out of stock. Tesco are getting wiser or greedier.

https://www.kaercher.com/uk/home-garden/promotions/pressure-washer-accessory-redemption.html
they have been raising prices across the site - trying to make a bit more margin on the assumption that people will be eagerly redeeming their vouchers
only saving grace is that it's a 6 week Boost period and prices will always fluctuate up and down, plus if the price drops within 28 days post purchase on Direct contact customer service to refund the difference
WTF does 'on and off' mean, do they KNOW what it means? Feb boost. DIDN'T HAPPEN!!
This one? Will it happen? Probably.
Tesco Clubcard is not a high card for me. Give me NECTAR ...ANY DAY! On or off throughout the year ...NECTAR!!!!!

I think tescos boost events are superior too.
edit- as in the £10/£20 off
direct items (non tv gaming tablets and whatever else i missed) is done auto on check out at the bottom with the payment it will say use culbcard vouchers or something like that, use click the ones you want to use
clothing you can only do instore this time
in store (tho use cant use them on food or tvs/tablets) you have to order them from boost page here https://secure.tesco.com/clubcard/boost/clubcard-boost-token-to-spend-in-store/UK-009513.prd
opticians you have to order them from boost page here https://secure.tesco.com/clubcard/boost/opticians-boost-token-to-spend-at-tescoopticianscom/UK-009518.prd
tho best to wait to mid next week, so the newest voucher get added to your culbcard accounts since they havent been yet, unless theys a offer ending or a voucher code ending that you cant wait to use
also a full list tho with mistakes some funny ones of whats in and what out
https://secure.tesco.com/clubcard/boost/CMSAssets/UK/rewards/default/pdf/whats-in-whats-out.pdf
home, cook and dine what isn,t PRINTER INK,
clothing whats included CD,s cos lots of people ware CD's dont they
just to list a few of the mistakes on that funny list, tho all in all its really bad for a last boost, no gaming no tv and no online f&F
"Sorry, this eCoupon had a limited number of uses and is no longer valid"
http://www.tesco.com/direct/silentnight-mattress-foxton-1000-pocket-luxury/222-6360.prd?pageLevel=&skuId=213-4544&showRvSkuImage=true&rvSku=213-4544
Thanks to this post, I got my mattress for barely £80 delivered instead of £220!
Bought it when had £40 off £200 spend (finished 11th) plus £20 off £150 spend.
Phoned Tesco up and they doubled up my points and taken them off the order too
Edit: Make that £25 and £35 PSN cards.
What to get, what to get.
Seems topcashback has tracked at £2.57 too, ch ching!
Just copy/past this link as hotukdeals adds their own stuff to the link and it won't take you to the page for the gift:
https://www.kaercher.com/uk/home-garden/promotions/pressure-washer-accessory-redemption/purchase-your-product.html
I've bought one and I'll have it delivered tomorrow - thanks OP.
Waste of money.
I can see many wanted items going out of stock today, leaving people who need tomorrow's vouchers to make a purchase very unhappy!
Check you're adding an eligible item. Points should show double on the checkout page. But if you added something like a TV, then they will just show face value.
.....and there is nothing I want/need.
Thanks for updating this thread
Now to wait for E3 to see if more come up, and place the last preorders before Boost is put out to pasture :disappointed:
Go on the Tesco Direct site and you can see it is live as has the Boost symbol by the eligible products and when you go to checkout Clubcard vouchers double - just ordered a few things

Only got approx £60 left as I've been using them on restaurant deals.
Is the £10 for £2.50 points rewards for restaurants etc ending or just the Tesco boost at Tesco?
yes too late unfortunately as the cut off date was the 5th May to convert points for the previous quarter

Tesco are back in profit and about to lose a chunk of customers over clubcard points or rather lack of points. Shame really, they were once a great company before their bad behaviour towards suppliers....
They got rid of the Papa Johns vouchers which we used and now the Boost, will cash in my £40 of vouchers this time around I think
I am hoping for an extra avios miles boost.
" As a clubcard member, we wanted to let you know that this May will be our last event where you can double your vouchers in store and online with tesco.
Why is it ending? We want to make your Tesco Clubcard even better for you, and doing this means we'll be able to bring you extra value from your vouchers the whole year round, with Tesco and our Clubcard Boost Partners "
That will be the Partners i never waste my points on tgen :disappointed:
My local has gone from being a great big essential place to shop to a scaled down rubbish version of its former self.
Don't even venture into the top floor since they shifted the electrical department downstairs and ruined that department in itself also, just an unorganised mess on that half of the store now.
500g 5% fat steak mince is 70p cheaper in Sainsburys that's how bad it's got.
Seems to be about chasing profits now and making more out of existing customers rather than attracting extra customers.
Shame though, especially if you don't do much with the boost partners. At least we now have a Pizza Express and Prezzo where we can use them, but they know how to charge for drinks!
What you need to know about the next Boost at Tesco event?
The next event runs from 16th May until 26th June and your vouchers will be with you from mid-May.
This event will be our last event where you can double your vouchers in store and online with Tesco. So to help you make the most of it you can see what departments are included from the link below. You can turn every £5 worth of vouchers into £10 of tokens to spend in these departments.
If you have any questions please see our FAQs.
