A few low prices in a four year period doesn't mean the regular price is tending towards about a pound

That Tesco deal was four years ago. Not exactly recent...

I don't understand how a calculator can be so cheap?
It just doesn't add up.

Good find, although I suspect this may have become the regular price. Sometimes it is hard to understand the world we live in: a haircut costs £10, but I piece of consumer electronics manufactured on the other side of the world and transported to a convenient retail store where I can buy it costs £0.75.
Heat added anyway.

I get what you're saying about the lack of logic - wish my haircut was £5 again - but this is not the regular price. I know this isn't gospel, but the lowest it's ever been on Amazon, for example, is £4 whilst currently £6.50 against an RRP nearly double that.

In a world without smartphones that was possibly the most entertaining thing you could do in a classroom!

Preferred'5318008' myself, but it doesn't really work on these Casios as it used to because of the more natural display of numbers, just as they appear here. Need the old skool, block display where '07734' also worked when the 4 could pass for an upside down 'h'.
