Why when reading your list did I suddenly think of politics.

We have a reputable business in my home town and the guy who owns it is called Mark Hunt. He has a brother called Isaac, same surname.

I wonder how many of the negative comments come from people that have never used this pipe bender. I have, it doesn’t break and it doesn’t look as if it ever will. It bends pipes accurately and it doesn’t scratch them.

This is almost the only sensible comment connected with this thread. I don't use a pipe bender (I did once on a course, but that was about 25 years ago), and I suspect the majority of commentators know no more about pipe benders in general or this particular item than do I (that is: not very much at all).
I think I'd trust xigent's comment much more than the others, and for that reason I'm going to add some heat.

Yes as long as the rail fits reasonably well in the guides but the rail will get scratched.

totally disagree, silver line in my opinion are the best of the budget brands, we use many of their tools and they've lasted years.

Some are o.k e.g Steel G Clamps but, I bought a 'high pressure replacement hose' for a pressure once, it was absolutely s**t, like a hollow nylon rope wrapped in cheap c-shaped thin plastic.
Of course it kinked and burst within about 10 minutes, I sent it back saying I want a refund but they just sent another one (which also broke straight away) obviously not fit for purpose but they didn't want to know.
So if it breaks, be prepared for either (a) a fight or (b) and endless loop of equally carp replacements. :smirk:
