Price is £5 per month if you live in BT Broadband Household
£5 x 12 months = £60
TCB = £42
£10 Amazon Giftcard (this is by 28th April)
So works out to £8 for the year or 66p per month
If you are not in a BT Broadband household it turns out to be £16 for the year or £1.33 per month
you can get this deal several times by doing separate transactions each time

TCB back up to 40 quid PLUS a 40 quid Amazon/iTunes voucher from BT. Count these as cash and BT are once again paying you to have this SIM for 12 months. Nuts...

Thanks for the help ok now apparently they held my old number on my account despite having moved ages ago and being a bt landline customer which does seem a trifle odd!!

its not accepting the vol number , anyone else getting this , i am inputting it correctly ...how **** this is .
Your VOL number should start with 'VOL011' or 'VOL012' and should be followed by a dash and a series of numbers

Cheers, that worked for me, unfortunately I did not see it till a day late.
I put it in the online form anyway, and it 'seems' to have accepted it, but if not no problem.
Currently trying to sell my flat, and the Housing Association people are messing me around, so rather more concerned with that (Big Tip, Do Not Buy Shared Ownership flats).
Nice
Hopefully they pay pay back after the estimated 7 weeks.

Talk to BT and see if they can maybe give some sort of compromise? Have you tried it with a different browser/computer?
Or is it when ordering at the BT website?

If you hover next to the MY BT, you'll be able to see "Track an order". Once you click on that, you'll have to log in again. Then have a look under "Closed orders".
I received mine yesterday, yet I can still see the VOL order reference number etc.
If you can't, best wait for BT's reply like you suggested.

28 Apr 16#46
Edit had a look, can't see a track my package, probably as package already here. Thanks for suggestion, but I just think BT have messed up.

You can find the VOL code when you log into MyBt and Track Your Package. There you will be able to find it.
You only have to provide the VOL code, the other reference number is not mandatory. If I am correct, only the VOL code had a * next to it.

Problemos...
Seems the voucher is very troublesome to claim.
1.- the order number is 20 characters, but the online form says maximum 18.
2.- it asks for a VOL code, which I can't see anywhere (seems to say it should be on the initial confirmation email, with the order number)
I am still reasonably content with the package I have got, because of the sport (which is also working in my tablet) and extra WiFi and what looks like decent quidco, but I don't think the voucher will be easy to get.
Unbelievable bad customer service from such a big company.

Yeah it was great, coupled up with the BT Broadband, line rental and TV for a year for £68 (my first deal post) I was laughing! Although that's confirmed but not yet paid on TCB, prepaid card already spent.
The 500MB plan actually paid you if cashback and vouchers came okay! But even 2GB is a push for me - just need to make more use of BT Wifi, but for the price it was a no brainer.
I do see why you questioned it though, have seen a couple of deals that just don't add up :disappointed:.

does anyone know if you have to go through another credit check as an existing customer of broadband? I've been through the checkout stage as far as summary and can't see any T&C's that state. I've had a couple of new credit cards recently and would rather not add more checks to the list if i can help it.

For 2GB:

Just to clarify that as a non BT Customer I went for the 2gb deal, and have actually had £55 tracked in Quidco (not sure if this is likely to change back to the advertised £35 (?) ).
Anyhow, assuming I do get the voucher too (can't be sure till I activate the sim, but I think I will) it works out, after cash back and voucher, to £4.75 a month, for me anyhow, with BT sport Lite included.
Not bad, might be worth posting as a deal itself.

How have the calculations been done for this deal?
NON BT Broadband household customer will be charged £11/Month for BT Mobile 2GB Plan. How does this get calculated to £1.33/month or £16 for the whole year?
Same for BT Broadband household how have you come up with "£8 for the year or 66p per month"??

I already have this deal (£5 per month as a bt customer), about to expire next month.
In order to get this deal with cashback, do I need to cancel existing contract then to take out new contract?
andyatcorco to ifitsfreeitsmine
26 Apr 16#18
Not 100% sure on this but I had the £5 per month deal for a few months and on black Friday they were doing the 2gb for £7 per month. I upgraded online and I got my Amazon voucher even though it wasn't a new contract. I wasn't signed up to any cash back sites at the time so not sure on that front. Worth a try but it's still a good price even without cash back or voucher.

26 Apr 16#17
Ah, thank you, will try when sim arrives.
Also, it appears that my quidco has initially tracked as £55, not £35, which is a nice surprise

what happens if your BT broadband contract expires and you move on. does the monthly price jump to that of a non BT customer or does it remain at 5 for the 12 months? thinking of switching my parents from giffgaff to this but our BT broadband contract finishes in june

wouldnt think so being an existing customer is a criteria to be met at point of purchase. Highly unlikely for this to be,a clause in the Ts&Cs. Call them to confirm if you wanna be 100% certain, ask them where you can get a copy of the Ts&Cs and ask them which clause.

Just gone ahead and ordered the 2gb one.
No sign of the voucher once I started the process, maybe, as I went through quidco it might not add it ?
Edit.
And now have completed process, and received confirmations of account, etc, but no information on £20 voucher.
The 2gb deal for non BT households for £7.50 a month, after cash back isn't bad either (for non BT people).
Edit, plus you also get a £20 iTunes or Amazon gift card, and 'BT Sport Lite' with this, so even if not with BT you can watch BT Sport (or some of it at least) on your phone, I guess (?).
Also includes use of BT wifi.
Interesting stuff (I am not in a BT household).
Quidco paying £35.
One query, OP, this bit isn't right is it...
'If you are not in a BT Broadband household it turns out to be £16 for the year or £1.33 per month' as its £10/ month for the 500mb.
That's why I think the 2gb for a pound more is a much better deal for non BT customers.

Price is £5 per month if you live in BT Broadband Household
£5 x 12 months = £60
TCB = £42
£10 Amazon Giftcard (this is by 28th April)

£96 - £40 - £40.40 = £15.60

£10 per month * 12 = £120
Amazon voucher = £20
TCB = £40.40
Total cashback = £60.40
£120-£60.40 = £59.60
£59.60/12=£4.97 per month
