No. Most people use it capitalised, for simplistic reasons. to differentiate between the first person pronoun and the number one. You will notice that the other first person pronouns: we, us, me etc are not capitalised. Also, it is derived from the Germanic "ich" which is not capitalised mid sentence in the German language. It just became accepted in its capitalised form in English. But then language evolves i suppose. Someday, most people will use "should of" instead of "should have". Hopefully, i won't be around by then.

So they are not in stock at the moment, and everyone is expected to phone stores throughout next week just in case they come into stock. How is this a deal at the moment, surely it should have been posted when stock was available or at least when you know for definite they will be available.

But please be aware its just the profit that goes to the charity not the £5. I think people should understand what deals like this really are and thats a promotion to get people in the shop where they recover if not make more profit from the promotion. What companies actually, i suspect in most cases, give to charities in terms of earnings are very little compared to the general public. So if your buying these specifically to make a donation your probably better off making a direct donation as already suggested, if not hey £5 chocolate.

I havnt said they are not in stock. How many stores to poundland have? How many store deliveries does each store get a week? I only posted a deal. Regardless weather it goes to charity or not 48 cadbury caramel eggs for £5 is a deal in itself.

Nottingham Lower Parliament Street branch had a few left yesterday. Insisting they were only available if you bought something else as well - no big deal, but nothing on the pricing display to confirm that.

Hmm, I wasn't suggesting these eggs were produced in 2009, when Cadbury eventually agreed an acceptable share price, following Kraft's initial hostile bid. They are clearly being sold now as a result of over-supply in the Easter market, and as such it is a crying shame this type of food waste occurs, especially if it ends up in landfill. There is no sense in ditching chocolate that just happens to be egg shaped, so yes I and I suspect more care about the landfill issue. You are equally wide of the mark on your guess about losing a job, more than that you are not required to know.

cheap price, hate caramel so not for me and not in the manor top Sheffield store when I popped in today, so not sure how national this deal is.

I went into the Nottingham store and had to ask the staff about the eggs, they got some from the stockroom and put up an advert about it too when they restocked the shop floor.

My local poundland (Edinburgh clerk St) had the caramel creme egg boxes on their shelf behind the cashiers, but when I enquired about it, I was told they were only for individual sale(per egg), not a whole box... :-(

Chocolate whatever, it shows Kraft are producing Vegtable Fat/White processed Sugar bloated Yuck (in place of expensive Cocoa butter) that less and less people want to consume, which causes them to drop the price point (or weight) and quality even further, with the need to add more Veggie Fat rather than Cocoa Butter to meet that price point/weight reduction.
