Great deal on a lightweight Bosch Blue impact drill and driver twin set. Should be great around the house for some spring DIY. Roughly 50% off retail. Just ordered a set myself!

This was already posted last week. I ordered one and has been delivered. Get value for money. The case is massive.

It may be massive but you can use it as a stool thanks to it's load rating
bseal - yes at Amazon. PS anyone considering a Bosch 'green' drill from your local Homebase or B&Q should try a blue. They are definitely worth that little bit extra, when deals like this are available!

can you use this as a screwdriver?

Yes, 20 torque settings when you select the screwdriver mode on the drill driver, and the impact driver with skill (or care) is a very fast screwdriver as you can back off the speed near the end and let it impact a couple of times to get it home.
At work I tended to use the impact to wizz out 20-30 screws and the drill driver to put them back if it was soft materials.

50% off is a massive exaggeration. This set is widely available for the £130 mark. The 18v version is the one that would be over £200

If you're buying this for working on cars, seriously consider just spending an extra £100 on a compressor, a hose and an impact gun.

Previous deal was same price ?

Yes.
Where this drill would come into its own would be for say flat pack furniture where an 18v is a tad heavy and cumbersome.
The impact is ideal for deck screws it is a powerful machine even at only 10.8v, it would put a screw straight through flat pack kitchens / furniture if you weren't careful.
