I'm surprised that anyone needs to buy these nowadays seeing as almost every tool set seems to have a good number of them included to boost the number count. I've at least 4 sets around the house despite never having set out to buy any. They are the tool equivalent of 'Tribbles'.

Anyone else spotted the apparently identical Erbauer one on the same page? That one says it's an impact set. More expensive too.
The only thing 'Bosch' about this set is the name on the box, but that's not a problem.

Thats interesting as I bought a set of these last week.. And a set of Erbauer bolt removers the week before.. And the case they both come in are the same.. not similar.. But identical
So clearly Erbauer and Bosch are linked in some way.

In case it helps anyone, I've had the Erbauer impact set for over a year now, and used it extensively with my impact driver. Quality is excellent (and it's much cheaper than DeWalt or Milwaukee equivalents), but it was half price when i bought it so unless you're in a hurry it might be worth waiting. There is (or used to be) also a version with a screwdriver included for about £13 that also goes half price on occasion.

sadly, none in the cambridgeshire area. would have been an ideal present for a friend who's a DIY nutter.

... or perhaps they both re-brand the same items from a third party manufacturer (perhaps one with a less popular Chinese name)?

I bought one of these sets a few months ago (from Screwfix, from memory they were £7 at the time), so this is a good deal. This is a really well made set, but beware it is tiny, in does not replace a regular socket set. It was exactly what I needed to tighten an almost completely accessible power steering hose on a Saab 900, and so easily paid for itself in a single use (gaining access might have taken 2 or 3 hours work otherwise).
To answer the question about using this with an impact driver: one could find an adaptor that would make it it fit, but these little sockets and bits would not last long at all in that role. This set is for small tasks where access is difficult but good leverage is required.
At under £5 this is a good buy for the tool box, so I've added some heat.

Can anyone recommend a decent ratchet screwdriver that won't break after 5 uses?

They should fit. I got a similiar set. But if it's anything like that set, I wouldn't recommend them for impact drivers. I don't find them hard enough. In any case, you should have batches of bits as they don't last long in impact drivers anyway - depending on usage.

Cheers for that I had considered trying to push it but I was in a rush. I had a winge on their Facebook page instead, they have asked for details but still waiting for their comeback.

Well that was a wasted visit. 2 sheepish staff advised me that my order was 'missing' and no replacements could be ordered. Amazing that they manage to work that out within 30 secs of me collecting. Assume one of them fancied the deal.

I had the same problem (Trafford Manchester), but i wasn't going to be fobbed off - the way i see it is that my money has been taken, email and text confirmation had been received about it being ready for collection. Also if it had been important items for the beginning of a job it could have mean't delaying a job or tradesman. I got them to price match the 32bit Dewalt pack (which was £14) x2. I'd recommend having a word with the manager of the branch.

If you don't mind spending a bit more I think the titan set is better value at £10 for 100 bits:
