Much better than pure white bleached sugar, but still it is bleached and processed. The only way they get away with poisoning sugar, flour and salt without mentioning bleach in ingredients is because considered to be industry standard and by law they dont have to mention.
Great deal though for okish sugar on a market.

What would you recommend then to replace sugar? Besides stevia/truvia, etc

Do you honestly think bleach is added to the sugar and that this process makes it poisonous?

Unrefined golden sugar like this is bleached? Are you sure?
Aren't you simply replacing sugar with another sugar? Or were you simply referring to the environmental advantages?

Maple syrup is less harmful to the environment, usually due to the estate management and demand. Stevia is a good financial bet for the future due to it's widespread acceptance by producers (Coke etc)
Is sugar chemically altered or bleached during processing?
No, sugar is not chemically altered or bleached during processing. The sugar in your sugar bowl is the same as the sucrose naturally present in the original sugar beet and sugar cane plants, and is also identical to the sucrose in other fruits and vegetables.
Pure sugar crystals are naturally colorless. No artificial bleaching or whitening is necessary. Molasses, which is naturally present in sugar beet and sugar cane and gives brown sugar its color, is removed from the sugar crystal with water and centrifuging. Carbon filters absorb any remaining colored plant materials.

And of course it's processed to some degree, packets of sugar don't grow on trees.....
Which is to say you haven't answered my question!
I was not asked the question. I do not know the answer
