I might take the plunge (ha!) and get one of these from Argos today, I've got £200 of vouchers I got free from TalkTalk to waste on something frivolous! It was going to be a table tennis table and a new kettle but we can have just as much fun with this I'm sure!!
Is this simple to set up and maintain, ie chemicals and stuff? I've never had one, so got no idea what's required!

Got one last year and just missed out on this offer, won't get much cheaper than this.
Need to make sure the pump is blasted out using the black hose regularly around once every month and the filter needs a good blast each day using a hosepipe when using it.
I got a connector also for my indoor tap, was around £3 from B&Q, saves waiting for the water to heat up all day as you just fill it with hot and then let the pump bring it up to temperature.
I stored mine over winter in the original box and the liner has some holes in it, but fair play to Bestway they have said they will replace it under warranty. Just be sure to register on their website if you buy one so you can get the extended warranty with them.

Google Russell Howard hot tub. I would quote it but it gets deleted on here.

Yes i have one, and do normally do this. the longest part is just waiting for a 50% of it to drain and then i fill it up and let the pump do the rest for a few hours!

Also they do take a while to heat up (Depending on outside temperature)
Example, my Vegas is in a metal shed and on foam interlocking tiles and takes from about 8am to 7pm to go from 7-8c - 35-36c.
I recommend the foam flooring, for one it gives an extra layer of protection to the base and two helps keep the spa warmer for longer due to less heat being loss to the ground. You dont have to buy best ways mat i just bought a few 600mm x 600mm interlocking tiles from ebay for about £12-13 in total.

Try filling it with hot water from your tap; you can buy converters for a normal sink tap to fit a hoselock connector to a garden hose, then run the hose from your tap to the hot tub.
Much quicker and cheaper to use your boiler to heat the water than the water heater that comes with the tub. You can then either maintain the temperature using the water heater or drain the tub using the hose to a drain and refill with clean hot water.

Last year the Vegas got reduced to around this price May Bank Holiday weekend, so might be worth waiting for a few days unless you need this one now.
