It's a 2013 model, there's no difference between 10 and 11, in fact I wish they never bothered with 11 cos chain splitter tools are limited and the split links cost a fortune compared to the 10 speed chain links.

Doesn't make any practical difference, 10 speeds weren't crying out for an extra gear, just allows them to release new groupset every year

Erm, perhaps an extra gear?
Find it is actually very useful. Especially if you want to put a 32 on the cassette without creating big gaps between gears.
Everything is going towarfs 11speed. Considering how 105 is 11 speed nowadays and I think Tiagra will be within the next couple generations.

What a hot deal. I just wish my old pushbike had worn out then I would be flashing my debit card all over this. Sadly my £12.50 Ebay purchase 6 years ago is still going strong although I did have to spend £6.99 on two new tires last year. I might buy a BELL to accessorize it. Has anybody got any suggestions on a durable, value for money BELL so I can look the part of a professional Cyclist.

you can reprogramme the shifters to be 11 speed but you'll need an 11 speed rear mech.

Do you actually need a new mech, can't this be reprogrammed too, I don't thing the overall swing is different is it? Obviously you'll need an 11 speed cassette though.

So tempted by this, been out on my road bike today actually, but just can't justify this. Is there anything out there that comes close to this. Ribble can supply a DI2 carbon bike for around £1600
haven't tried it myself though so can't confirm either way

Why is the main focus of this bike on the di shifting. Surely it's just a gimmick. It's the frameset and wheels that make a bike great.

While what you say may be true, it doesn't answer my question really. Why put an electronic groupset (or half of it) onto a bike that isn't all that good in the first place.
I can see how DI shifter can improve your ability to get up to speed quicker and push harder. But surely a stiff frame and fork, not to mention wheels would be far more important.

I can't say for sure as I don't race but the ability to better change gears under power in a sprint maybe the difference between being in the top 3 and outside the top ten.
At the end of the day you buy what you feel is important for you.
