Quite ignoring the fact that cup a soup is not on there, the closest is the cream of tom. That's equivalent to a cup of tea with one sugar for half a tin. A lot of people have been having several cups like that everyday for years and years and have not spontaneously combusted or died on the spot of an exploded heart.
Come to think of it, people have been eating that soup for I don't even know how long. Heinz have got to be over a hundred by now surely?
But if you think that not eating soup will give you immortality then whatever. Live in delusion. And don't give me that "if you made it yourself" stuff either. You're making it from (technically) fruit and cream. And again, 1tsp per serving is nothing.
All this sugar panic is pathetic. It's a fear of mortality it really is.

Interesting but most of the soups have a LOW SUGAR content NOT quite so sure on the SALT but easy enough to check if you go to the Asda website http://groceries.asda.com/search/batchelors%20cup%20a%20soup Choose the flavours you like best then just click on each one and check. Good suppin'
