Force Majeure is really funny if you like a slightly more intelligent movie (not meant to be patronising! I mean the sort of film that would be found in more of an art-house type cinema :smiley: )

Wasn't anything I wanted in the more expensive movies and it's still a saving, it would have expired in a couple days so better than leaving it unused I thought.

13 Assassins is brilliant for anybody who thinks they might remotely enjoy a samurai movie.

Looking into these movies more, there's loads of quality there if you prefer character portrayal type films. Most of the class of Independent scores very highly on Rotten Toms.

I recommend A Most Violent Year if you want more Oscar Isaac. Ex machina is his best movie(not in the list).
It Follows is a worthwhile horror.
The Hunter is on netflix. Winter's Bone gets a thumbs up too.
13 assassins has great action and a decent story. Probably the best of the lot.

Force Majeure is an excellent film, well worth a pound.

I quite enjoyed Red State - interesting film. Fish Tank too - harsh film. Winter's Bone and 13 Assassins weren't bad either - nice deal!

Wild Tales is fantastic, and as mentioned many others in this list are really good too.

To those complaining, I think this is a bargain even if it's for a handful of good movies such as Winter's Bone and 13 Assassins. It's a pound, if these were blu-ray deals in Poundland you same people who are moaning would be rushing to your local poundland...lighten up.

For anyone that hasn't seen it and likes Japanese Horror, Suicide Club is well worth watching

Picked up Long good Friday, Suicide Club and 13 Assassins.

Pretty much free since I had £12 credit from Google Rewards.

Amazon seem to have price matched lots of these so if you have any Amazon Prime "no rush" entertainment credit this might be a good use for it.

Who pays for movies?... You can download Blu-ray copies off thepiratebay for free :innocent:
