Not bad for a factory refurbished model, you can grab them new at around £129.99 at the moment, although if that's a little much for your budget, this seems a fairly decent price

Lovely Chinese machines, just wondering whether to get my third one, super in every way for the money, though I bought the T100TA (not TAF) models at £180 and then at £140 (but both with Office 2013 Home & Education serials). Though paid more back then but has earned that money back in productivity as my Office 2003 was getting on... Jaw dropping battery stamina...(note, make no mistake, this refurb recommended by OP does not come with Office 2013)

Should I go for this one or the Acer machine that's on offer at 89.99? (posted on Hotukdeals earlier today)

Lucky then, is it a full licence or the Office 365 for a year? T100TAF-BING-DK024B is Office 365 one year subscription which is worth £5 whereas I am talking about the full real McCoy worth £60-£100 if bought separately.

What's the battery life like on these? At least 4 hours?
Also how about the boot-up times? Looking for something small for uni! Thanks!
How are the speakers on this? Literally every tablet featured on this site has poor quality speakers. Is this any different? (Buying primarily for watching movies)

If only they didn't have only 32gb emmc. Even my poor old Latitude 10 came with 128gb and a digitiser so I could use a pen.

For anyone else curious about the sound:
"Another pleasant surprise is that the Asus Transformer Book T100 has stereo speakers, which fire out of tiny grilles drilled into the glossy plastic rear of the tablet. These aren’t the only spots that output the sound, though. The speaker isn’t fully isolated, meaning it vibrates the back of the tabet at high volume and sound leaks out of the bottom sockets. It doesn’t really matter, though, as it doesn’t spoil the stereo image, and stops covering the grilles from becoming an issue.
Sound quality is respectable for a budget tablet, but not truly remarkable. It’s not too harsh or tinny, and having stereo sound is great for watching movies. Top volume is decent, but lacks the low-end bulk and power of the best tablet speakers. It doesn’t feel like a serious compromise."

I have a 2 of these. Under normal use (web browsing, YouTube, Office 365 work) I got about 8 hours with Windows 8.1 and around 11 hours with Windows 10. TBH no other laptop/tablet combo comes close to this without spending mega bucks.
