"Unsurprisingly, Asus's latest hybrid machine also trounces Surface Pro 3, which is powered by a Core i5 processor from fall 2013, in almost every test stressing both the CPU and graphics chip. While Microsoft's hybrid baby comes packing a faster Core i5 processor, its GPU is older and less capable compared to the Intel HD 5300 graphics inside the Asus. The Surface Pro 3 is by no means a dinosaur yet, but to see Asus pack even more performance into a smaller package makes it clear that the bar has been raised."
Sounds like a nice laptop. I didn't realise how capable the Core M chips were.

Looking at the model, there also appears to be version with 8gb memory and also a pen. Not sure if this version includes one?

If the specs on Ebuyer are correct, then this is at the bottom end of the Chi 300 line. The 5Y10 processor in this is quite a bit less powerful than the 5Y71 processor in the ones that went out to websites like Techradar. Should get better battery life though, especially with the lower power demands of the 1080p screen.

The reviews below item indicate there is. Quote them though... Not me!
Pretty decent given the form factor and lack of fans. Hopefully this Core M tech will filter down to the Atom range. (This processor in an Asus T100Chi sized laptop would be close to my ideal laptop)

Pah! 4gb memory only, should be 8 at least, at this price.

There is an 8gb version with a slightly faster processor, but its over £100 more, don't think its worth the extra.

Is this any good for video editing?

Only I'd you need this form factor. Otherwise you want a standard laptop with a proper quad core I5 cpu

Very good performance considering it's only 800MHz that can turbo to 2GHz.
Yep I paid exactly £100 more for that version on Ebuyer a couple of months back! Plus it has the WQHD display, which to be honest seems a bit like overkill, but I'm pretty pleased with it on the whole

Sounds like you got a good deal....especially if you got the 5Y71 processor.

The Cube i7 Stylus has the same core m processor with a 10.1" screen and 2 in 1 form factor...

this is tempting but the 4gb ( not upgradeable ) holds it back for me.
also, when i compare CPUs on cpuboss it shows that my 4 year old i5 chip in current laptop still beats it on all counts....i dont want to downgrade. The wait continues for 8gb and a faster chip with stylus and active digitizer for under £500.

Too pricey for a Chinese tablet. I think the Surface 3 best suits my needs....I just need to work some Gumtree magic and get a good one for under £250 with keyboard

The T300 Chi suffers from screen cracks when handled normally (not roughly) - Asus NEVER fix this under warranty.

I wasn't aware that Asus fixed anything under warranty.

They fixed a broken T100 that I purchased via Gumtree. They didn't even ask for the receipt (I didn't have one) - and returned it, fixed, within 5 working days.

Also mentions wqhd resolution, with the same model number?
