However, if you sign up for free membership of mywaitrose (loyalty card scheme), you can also select the same powder as one of the "Pick your own offers" items where you save 20% off the normal retail price of £6.50. So you get £1.30 deducted at the checkout per box when swiping your mywaitrose card (having preselected and saved the item as a picked offer). That's £3.90 off the £10 offer, bringing the total for 3 boxes down to £6.10.
Plenty in stock at the Waterlooville branch when I went earlier today and the discount was confirmed on my receipt. Offer advertised to run until 10/05/2016 so as long as you select the product as one of your 20% off picks, this price should be valid until then.

On the washing powder; 203p per box / 22 washes = 9.2p per wash. It's pretty obviously under 10p per wash at a glance unless I'm missing something.
