Handy filler item. Got me to £20 on a £19.99 item, to qualify for free delivery and for whatever reason the FillerChecker website doesn't find it
This isn't about the SIM people, it's about how to use a 1p item to get your order value from £19.99 to £20.00 to get free delivery but don't let that stop you commenting that the SIM is free from Giff Gaff..... I wonder if anyone has read this comment? ..... I suspect not.

Oh Dear.Just no telling some people. The deal has nothing to do with wanting a free giffgaff sim ,its just a 1 p item to take you over 19.99 to the free delivery at 20.Amazon has a huge range of 19.99 items but next to nothing for 1 p which would then give you free delivery ....comprenda

I got one of these the other day to qualify for the free delivery. The camels confirm this is the best price these sim cards have been on Amazon :smirk:
i was with giffgaff for about 3years until last week when they put up their price!! i only need 3gb and they took it away, replace it with £15!! moved to life mobile- internet is much faster

A lot of comments focusing on the fact that it is a Giffgaff SIM...that's irrelevant as its been ascertained that you can get a Giffgaff SIM for free. Think of this as paying 1p for free delivery, the SIM is a throw-in. This could be anything, a piece of paper, a penny sweet. It's just serves to be the cheapest way of bumping a £19.99 order over the £20 threshold.

How do some people function....it's beyond me.
If all you want is a Giffgaff sim, then YES order it for free.
If you want to qualify for free delivery on you £19.99 Amazon order...then buy one of these sims for 1p to make it up to £20 and qualify for free delivery. You don't have to keep the sim, but will have saved the Amazon delivery charge for the sake of 1p.
This is what the deal is about, advice on how to get free delivery for 1p, if it's relevant to you.

It's remarkable isn't it?! however this now helps explain the voting mentality on HUKD.... people clearly don't look and read the description before voting.... in fact it seems even if they do read the description they don't get it. Does it work with those though? they are from 3rd party sellers. I had an order over £20 but because some items was from 3rd party sellers and the item from Amazon came to £19.98, Amazon was still charging a delivery fee. Added 2 of these Giffgaff sims get get free delivery.

Obviously useful for someone new to using Amazon. But I would be very surprised if most people don't already use this sort of item to reach £20. There are loads of items priced at 1p that will help you achieve the £20 spend so ignore the fact it's a sim card (nevertheless may be useful to some).

I did this thread a few months back http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/add-items-top-orders-up-mostly-99p-less-random-bargain-items-amazon-2381614#comments
Although It wasn't quite as successful as this thread has been...... lol
Anyway my point is; although quite a few of the items I listed then may no longer still be the same price now, it may still give you 'ideas' on useful cheapish things you can 'add on' to your Amazon orders.
Fuses, garden ties, birthday candles, toothpaste, shower gels, face cream, cable ties that kind of thing. There is also the 1p Sim Card and 10p pill box links too
I thought it worth a mention because it might still have use to someone, if you run out of ideas...
Oh dear, you read the OP's post , first line, you find a £19.99 item.

9 Apr 16#77
Yes, and that would make your order £19.99 + 1p + £2.80 = £22.80.
