Overview
Bringing a new style of storytelling to Xbox 360, Alan Wake is a psychological action thriller from Remedy, the developers of the successful Max Payne series. In this dynamic new title exclusively for Xbox 360, players assume the role of Alan Wake, a best-selling suspense author suffering from writer's block, who escapes to a small town only to experience the mysterious disappearance of his wife.
Set in the deceptively idyllic town of Bright Falls, Washington, Alan Wake immerses players in an intense and expansive cinematic world that enables players to explore the hyper-realistic and interactive environments. Alan Wake is mission-based with a deeply engaging and suspenseful storyline unveiling new twists and profound character revelations at every turn.
Players will unravel the riveting plot through multilayered character interactions, unique problem-solving and intense combat against terrifying enemies. In this nightmarish world, where fantasy and reality collide, Alan Wake must use a variety of weapons to survive, including his most powerful ally against the darkness - light itself.
I suspect this will be on GWG soon... (purely speculating of course)

Hmmm I could be wrong, God knows how I got this then as I sure don't remember buying it and did not play it at the time of release, just found it on my available backwards compatible list. I stand corrected! Cracking game though almost finished it.

Completed primal mate. Best dah and the woman and then lost interest because I had so many collectibles left to find but no camps or bonfires to take over. Great game though while it keeps your interest.

Anyone happen to know if all copies of Quantum Break come with an Alan Wake code and how long that will last for? Only I'm planning to get an Xbone with QB later in the year and would love to play this masterpiece again. If not then, for less than the price of a meal deal, I'll just buy it now!

Based on previous games, all copies should come with one. There was however an expiry date on the codes for previous BC games so I'm not sure what that is for Alan Wake.

Such a brilliant game. This is an great price. Heat added. You get this free if you buy Quantum Break (or so it said on the sticker on the box in Sainsburys today). Quantum Break is also a great game!

I never got Alan Wake. Way too repetitive after the first hour and the storyline was overrated and overdramatic. Hoping Quantum Break won't disappoint...

Each to their own but I loved this game. The big main stream games don't do much for me, but games like this I find myself getting addicted to!

I'm tempted to get this even though I have the disc so I can just download the digital version for the XB1 and not have to swap discs.

Good deal. I am playing this and Dead Space currently on my Xbox One. Ok the graphics look a bit rough but they both actually look ok and still are very playable. Both games just draw you in with their atmosphere. I don't think it is too easy. Not so easy when you are trying to get away from 4 shadows and you have run out of batteries and ammo.

Bought the game and the 2 add ons. Cheers to you and the op. Heat
Playing this currently. Too easy but I'm enjoying it, loving all the references to Twin Peaks and the Twilight Zone etc. Worth mentioning the two DLC packs released for this game are currently free as well.
