I bought it on 22/04/15 for £89.99

strange - my K242HL does have HDMI. I was disappointed with it - from a viewing angles point of view - so got an IPS instead.

+1 heat.
Bought one a couple of weeks ago when it was ~£90 - great bit of kit.
No HDMI in, but bought a Belkin HDMI to DVI cable from Tesco for £9 and works fine in full HD res from my PC.
