The plastic shelves break too easily. I bought home gear metal shelves from sports HQ and they are bigger and stronger. They are easy to put up and look a lot better in my garage.

This unit is also remarkably versatile. As well as shelves, you can also convert this to be a workbench or corner unit. The boltless design, slotted construction, and adjustable shelves will make it simple to make adjustments.

These are a much better solution for a garage, I got similar ones from Makro. Plastic shelving and 30kg per shelf isn't good for much

Hi I been looking for shelving and decided on eBay I got 3 bays of extra wide 1.2 mt by 1.8 mt high and 400 mm deep metal heavy duty for £51 delivered there on an auction so could be higher or lower better by than these plastic ones

Very useful these, and the smaller 2 shelf items posted on here recently. Few tips. Read the instructions before assembly. There seems to be a very slight curve on the front of the shelves, and if you want them to match look very carefully. If it seems that a lot of force is needed, that means you have not lined them up correctly. There should not be excessive force used.
Final tip for indoors - like a lot of houses I do not have solid internal walls. I do not want to drill, and use special fittings, so, the tip is put something small under the front legs to tip back against the wall slightly. I use 2p coins. These are not so good for really heavy use, but brilliant for light and bulky items. I use them for keeping multiple desktop computers in some sort of order.Heavier items on the bottom shelf and placed as far back as possible. When stacking two of the smaller units I did fasten them together with wooden blocks cut to size. They are not safe just stacked on top of each other.
Here endeth the lesson!
