It's worth paying full price just so the cashier doesn't think you're a Mail reader*

The most disgusting piece of s*** ever printed. Disgusting rag that will never ever get a penny of my money, nor should it get any other decent persons money either.

Yeah title needs amending as for the price of the paper. Meaning the voucher is for that amount after deduction. Totally trolling of course. Misses works part time in cafe so I'll be sure to tell her.

Good deal for anybody who doesn't live in a city where they can get the Metro.

I must admit I prefer Aldi but I wouldn't say Lidl was as bad as that.
Print off a free voucher at E-Edition of the Metro and wipe your bum with the mail.

I agree, but one can get it for free at Waitrose with a small purchase: tear out voucher and recycle the rest of the rag.

You can't use a copied/printed version of the voucher.

Why? Don't you have the willpower to overcome the temptation?

22 Apr 162#25
There's no willpower issue with the router method because wading into the router to undo the ban is far too much hassle. The ban protects others too who use our wi-fi, and since excluding myself from the Daily Mail readership I've been living a less troubled life.

Zoom in to the voucher on page 2 of the Metro E-edition. It clearly says:
"Copied, damaged or defaced vouchers will not be accepted, only original vouchers are valid."
A printed-out voucher is considered a copy. An original voucher is one cut out of the actual Metro newspaper. Staff at my local Lidl confirmed this the last time Metro ran the promotion.

Yet a printed newspaper is called a copy!

Stop arguing semantics. The reality is that it against the TOS, the store probably won't accept a voucher you've printed out yourself and you run the risk of embarrassment and/or disappointment when trying to use it.

Plus you'll antagonise all the Mail readers in the queue behind you who've paid 65p for a legitimate voucher and have to wait while you repack all your £40 shop into the trolley!
