These normally sell for £750 or more New So i thought you mite be interested in saving a large wedge of cash like i was back in February.
Well i thought i would post this deal as i have been buying and trying 4k tv since Christmas when i started with a Hisense 321 50 inch but had to return it as it suffered from to much judder so i pored through reviews and found this rather nice brushed metal Panasonic tv DIRECT from Panasonic from there ebay store and decided to give it a shot.
The very next day a SONY Sony KD-49X8005C went on sale on amazon for £490 so i bought that one too as a back up just in case i had to return the Pany dew to my high quality control standards :)
Anyway over the next 10 days i spent testing them i decided that the the Panasonic was the better choice for a number of reasons compared to the SONY (now £600) and the Hisense(now £470) i had before - much better build quality ,much brighter VA panel, faster firefox OS,better black levels, local dimming technology to further improve black levels and mixed on-screen content.
NEGATIVES - a lot less Apps on firefox OS, 3D is supposed to be not so good.
Unlike the other lower priced main brands the VIERA TX-50CX700B has a real brushed metal bezel as well as feet and the superior quality can easily be seen and felt.
Basically what your getting with this TV is a mid range TV at only £500 with a build quality that easily surpasses the low priced 4K Sony,Samsung & LG range.
Considering the Majority of the TV's priced at £500 mark here on HUKD don't have professional reviews i thought the Panasonic is more than capable of selling it's self without my help.

Oops is this the cx700? I've got the the newly released 58dx700. Sorry about that. Anyway it's a great tv if you want to get into 4K.

I have the 58inch 700 and it's excellent. It cost £1200 so this deal is a good one. The 58inch 700 has HDR I'm sure if this does. The 4K picture quality on Netflix demos is truly breathtaking. But at present that's all there is to watch. Netflix 4K programs are very poor in comparison to the demos. Obviously they aren't proper 4K. The only HDR show on there is Marco Polo and that also is extremely poor to look at.
4K PC games look incredible on the 58inch 700 and if you have an nvidia card it can upscale to 8k. I only have a gtx 970 so it can do 4K effortlessly but 8k pushes the card too hard. I have played a couple of games at 8k and it's so good. I can overclock further but I don't want to burn my card out
If you are into 4K PC gaming them the any of the dx700 series will be for you.

You should of tried the SONY android tv's back in 2015 as they where terrible even in the most basic of functions like switching channels and only became a lot better in January through firmware updates.
There where a lot of loyal angry Sony lovers who got cream pied at the time and if you read professional reviews they all said the SONY android OS was the most dysfunctional of all the Tv for 2015.
All the big brands have made technological turkeys in the past ,there's S***y Sony's ,Lethargic LG's ,Pathetic Panasonic's and suicidal Samsung's :smirk:

Oh Boy are these panels so bright that i decided to plug it in outside and film the results. As the sun was shinning so bright both the Panny and the sony looked like large mirrors dew to the direct sunshine but when i plugged in the Panasonic i was amazed at the results.
Just note there was a lip sink problem while filming as i was streaming from outside the house and my router was in my upstairs bedroom ( my tv never has this problem )
P.S my refurbished TV arrived in perfect condition with a new remote and manual and i would of simply returned it like the other two i had if it had not been up to scratch.
Take note this normally sells for £550 when its in stock on the panasonic refurb website and the price did not drop for 2 months until now so if your interested in getting one then i would advice you get one now as they sold out in 2 days last time.
