You cant retract neg feedback once it's there it's there you should of taken the tenner but if he was anything of a good seller he would of known that !! I was talking to eBay the other day and feedback does not come into any of your account performance it's just for show !!

Bought something like these before & they were rubbish (I am not sure if they are the same, but I think they are). The uprights came in 2 sections, 'joined' by plastic bits, the adjustable shelves were the only thing supposedly keeping the uprights upright & the specs were completely wrong (I think both the size & weight limit quoted was actually for all the shelves, not one). The ones that arrived for me were 18cm deep & 45cm wide, not 45 x 90 (i.e. 18'' x 7'' not 36'' x 18'').

The eBay seller offered me £10 compensation to take down the negative rating, but I declined - had someone else been honest & left similar feedback it would have saved me much more than £10 of backache collecting them, trying to assemble & then returning.

The rubber mallet will be very useful - to smash them up after you give up assembling them if they are as bad as what I was sent.

Found my last email to them:

I think, that if it's not raining in your garage, they should be OK for, at least, the next 10 years.

Vinyl wrap the shelves before use... that's what I did before using a different racking for my fish tanks :smiley:

loads of people are doing them for this price and if you buy the double or the single unit, they are cheaper again. Look good though.

Heated. However be wary of MDF if there's any hint of moisture where they're going to be used. Some (most?) sectional concrete garages for example..

Had 25 sets of these a while ago - a rubber mallet is handy for putting them together.

Very good price for these. Seems to average out at around £70-90 depending on the overall dimensions and strength of the wooden shelving itself.

Can also be very modular since each unit can become two smaller units, at least the ones I bought can.

You would pay this much for basic shelving! Good find.
