It was £25 last month for the complete package. £30 is where it should be without any deal!

So they up by £3 then leave. No issue. Got a code looking to sign up.

Old man got the free broadband last year, I went on online chat and got half price for £37, thats Family bundle half price 12 months and no tie in period for Movies or Sports again both half price until cancelled. Bargain for a existing customer with 12 months free broadband :smile:

Cancelled Sky tv yesterday and will go freeview HD and internet. Told the sales rep that there is no deal that would keep me and to take my 31 days notice

I just signed up and can cancel yet but i got the full tv bundle excluding sports (dont watch sports anyway) line rental, sky talk pay as you go, sky fibre broadband unlimited for 43.50 a month for 12 months, 25pound tesco voucher but a 30pound one off installation

They are having a bit of a laugh calling that complete. Most people will add £17.40 a month for line rental and you can have either free unlimited ADSL or 25GB cap 38MB Fibre. Another £10 is then needed for the unlimited 38MB fibre most people would actually want.

It is then a further £23.99 a month for HD BT Sports, plus £30 activation fee, clearly not necessary, but if you are buying the Sky package for football BT now has a lot of what you will want. The package includes a box for one room and the fairly good value option of £5 a month for another room. So for two rooms, all the sport and decent internet you are already looking at over £80 a month

After the introductory period the Broadband goes up £10 as well as the £50 on the package of TV and multiroom goes up by £7. That makes around £150 a month, yikes.

Don't worry, Sky will soon increased the £30 p/m price within the 12 months and there's nothing you can do about it.

I agreed to the £6 p/m deal to go on the family package but after 3 months they increased it and said they didn't agree it was £6 for the full term, but in fact I was on a half price plan and that meant by plan cost increased with their usual price increase.

Pretty chilly to be honest. For £30 PM I would want phone line and broadband in there too, which it doesn't look like this has?

Also doesn't say if you get a free gift either, considering Sky have been giving away TVs, laptops, tablets and £100+ vouchers, this deal seems pretty 'meh' unless there is something I'm missing?

Would genuinely love to know of a better Sky deal as I'm considering switching from VM in the next month when my contract is up but it would take something MUCH better than this I'm afraid.....

£50 a month I pay for everything, phoneline, unlimited fibre, all hd channels execpt Bt sports. You can spend more than £50 on coffee!! In fact i probably spend £50 on pizza :confused: What's the point in messing about with streaming, dodgy boxes, dodgy streams?

I doubt people would get a price increase if they sign up for this deal, as it would be a breach of contract :smiley:. If prices do rise, it would just increase from £80 to whatever the new monthly price becomes after the existing 12 month contract (Unless you give Sky 30 Days notice of intent to cancel the contract).
Happened to me with Virgin Media, although I saw a sharp increase in the amount they wanted from me after my initial 18 month discounted contract offer, where my monthly bill rocketed from £32 a month to £44 lol :smiley:.

so the full bundle is TV only, I have had Sky for over 15 years, where I live my bb is only 1.6 mbs with fibre not showing as coming soon, so all the streaming services inc BT are not an option due to buffering etc. so Sky works for me, in most cases I call every year to cancel and get at least 35% off my bundle.

So it is possible for me to order something like this and just plug it in at my home?

How long before I can use another name and do I have to throw all out old equipment to get them to come out and reinstall it again seems non sensical to me

Might try ringing up and asking if they can change it at all possibly. It will let me go through checkout for the offer in my own name so I don't see why it wouldn't work if we just cancelled the existing order for our address. Because both me and other half are new customers so it might work. Just don't want to lose out on both offers haha!

Been previously on the 25 anniversary deal, gave my 30 day notice, best i got was £100 credit and 50% off. Channels are closed now. So I'll be rejoining as a new customer next few days with the £30 per month deal. Also spoke in livechat, agent advised it will be £30 a month for the 12 months. Won't increase with the price increase on 1st June.

I never even had to enter a code, just clicked through the link in the email that said the deal was now live

The issue I have is I have just cancelled Sky about two days ago and want to sign my wife up as a new customer to get this deal. Same address but different email, name, sky account card payment method and bank account details.

The question I have is surely you can't have two sky TV subscriptions at the same address ie two account holders at the same address (as I'm now in my 30 day cancellation period thing).

Is their a way I can still sign my wife up as a new customer while I'm in the 30 day cancellation period?

I've tried joining in a different name but it recognises my address... Do I need to phone up? What do I say to them to get around only just leaving (3 weeks ago)

Get your OH, brother, sister, father etc to call them and get the deal on their name at your address. They will honour this deal over the phone/online chat as well.

I have a similar issue, I have sky in my name and the deal I have is running out, I tried to set this up on my OH name and they recognise the address, I tried the online chat and they couldn't offer the £30, the best offer they had is £38 per month, free set up and a free 1TB box.......which box does the £30 per month come with?

Right for anyone who has it already - I just spoke on chat and the lady sent me the link . I told her it recognised my address and she said type it in manually . After it has found your address , click it (your address in drop down box ) then click 'address not in list' or something like that , then type it in manually . This worked for me . My partners sky cancels on 31st May and mine is due to set up a couple days after :smiley: also , I got a £25 pre paid MasterCard . In addition , when you have clicked the link from the chat , go to quidco , go to sky then click tv , scroll down the packages , click complete bundle and it should come through with your offer price . I have £145 quidco tracked (I went for multi screen too) .

My partner and me have same surnames and it worked . I used my bank account derails instead of our joint account that's already in his sky account but not sure if this matters ?

I'm pretty sure this stays the same price for the duration of the offer. It's only a limited time promotion afterall.

Bit like postage stamps I suppose. You can buy one a 64 pence one, which might equate first class today, whereas alternatively you could buy a "1st class" one day today which will remain first class for a while longer. Those on percentage reduced deals with Sky will no doubt see price hikes this summer.

My mate rejoined with their £25 all in retention TV deal and a couple of weeks later got a letter regarding price increaes in June. When he rang CS he was told this was simply generic system issued and to ignore it.

You could always email them your own t&c's when signing up stating that you enter the contract only on the understanding that it remains £25 for the full year. It's worked for others in the past. As terms and conditions to an agreement are not just a one way thing.

Got my code a couple days ago and have just convinced (/worn down) the missus that signing up for the complete package is a good thing. Accessed the link, but when clicking the Check Availability button for broadband I got redirected to a page asking me to call. It let me do it fine a couple days ago when I tested it. I didn't note down the number and now when accessing the basket page again the Check Availability button is totally greyed out. Guess I'll try again later.

Can you have two Sky subscriptions at the same address?

I cancelled 5 days ago and I want to get the wife to sign up. Surely when they come and fit the box they will see that the property already has a sky subscription.

Do I need them to connect the box (installation) once my old deal has run out?

When you sign up as a new customer under partner name, will they provide a new satellite dish? I hope all they do is provide a new HD box.

They won't install one if its not needed, do what I did and request a self install, they will then send you the box to plug in yourself

My comment above tells you how to get around this . We technically still have a subscription - due to run out in a few days and I have managed to sign up again in my name rather than partners this time .

How did you do this ? I didn't see the option - however thinking about it I have also added multi screen so I'm assuming they need to come and install that anyway ?

I just ordered as normal with an install date and then went on live chat and requested it be sent to me, but if you've gone for multi room and never had it you will still need an engineer vist.

Update on this, my order is now showing as an engineer visit after spending around 20 mins trying to get through on live chat the agent there told me I have to have an engineer visit and refused to believe I was promised the box would be sent out . After a long drawn out chat he then agreed to find the previous live chat and confirmed I had been "misinformed" about the self install ( I call it lied to get a sale)
Not the best first impression of going back to Sky ...

Just had my visit, engineer provided DRX890WL-C box (500GB model), and also swapped the dish as our old one was rusty and tatty - they may not offer to do this in all cases, ours was easy to reach and I guess the engineer had a bit of time available.

500GB isn't going to stretch far with our content appetite so an upgrade will be arranged sharpish before The Boss queues up a load of series.

For those that are wondering, I put my cancellation in a few weeks back before I knew of this offer, this deal is under my GF's name, same address, no issue.

worked a treat for me my sky tv went up to £105 was in my wifes name shes canceled and ive taken exactly the same package with multi room £35 a month out in my name the best bit about it my install date is a week earlier than my our cancellation date going to be one confused installations guy

I just went through the link on the email and added the £30 package to my basket, I then went to quidco, clicked through the sky link and the item was still in my basket, ordered and the £105 cash back tracked within an hour :smile:

Somebody posted earlier that the was just a standard email sent to all new customers, this will not apply to this package

Correct, I checked my billing for the next three month's on sky id and all bills were £35. So price increase won't apply as it did say mse that no price increases will be applied during the 12 months. Cheers for clearing this up for me

Same letter here but the future bills online still show without an increase. Think their mailing department didn't get the memo.

Update: Sky customer services said it was a mistake from an automated mailout and "...your billing will be unaffected, your offer is a specific amount per month rather than a % so you will be paying the £30 per month for 12 months"
