Add two to bag (£30.29 each) and use code PBK to get a 20% discount. Works across whole site but max is £40 off so no point trying to splash out on carbon clinchers or whatever with it.
If you want the 28mm size then go to the 'pair' listing instead of the singles as you can save a little bit more. They don't list the 25 or 23s as a pair.
Couldn't find a better price for these tyres. If code expires your best bet then is to go to Radial Cycles, get their £5 subscription code and buy the pair for £49.99, or better yet, Pair with two Race 28 tubes deal. Works out at £2 per tube extra. (Which is what I done this morning, only saw this PBK code afterwards).

Just put these on my Wilier Zero 9, roll really nicely, 25mm much more comfortable than the 23mm I had on before. Awkward to get on tubeless rims though. Paid £52 Inc pp through Merlin Cycles.

I've got these on my bike but am not sure they are what they used to be, I've had a couple fail now with quite low mileage.

I've had a pair of these on my road bike since June 2015 - I use my bike every day and have only had *touch wood* one puncture. I've tried soooo many different tyres over the past five years or so and I'm definitely happiest when using these - less rolling resistance than most, fantastic in the wet, and I've never had to be uber-careful on corners. Just need an excuse to replace my 23 versions with 25s now!
What's the betting that I'll now get up tomorrow morning and find that both tyres are flat?

Some bikes now cost as much as cars! Crazy world.

Can buy bicycle tyres for £4! Maybe even cheaper I'm sure.
If you want to get into the sporty stuff with unique rubber compounds, low rolling resistances and experimental puncture protection techniques you have to fork out a bit for the R&D I guess :man:
Worth it though. Can roll around happily on cheap tyres on a car, you'll be fine unless the tread is worn. But on a bike it can be a nightmare. I went shopping for tyres after getting two punctures on my Vittoria slicks on a 100 miler last Sat. Took me an extra hour and forty mins to get home. Ruined what was a really nice ride up until the second puncture.

How are these compared to gator hardshells?

No direct comparison, but we can probably extrapolate from a 4000s II v Gatorskin comparison.

4000s II (12.2w Rolling Resistance)

Gatorskin (19.3w Rolling Resistance)

The Hardshell likely has even higher rolling resistance, but better puncture resistance than the Gatorskin on the sidewall and tread.
Paid about 55 for a pair of these 2 weeks ago
