XCOM 2 is the sequel to the 2012 Game of the Year, award-winning strategy game, XCOM: Enemy Unknown. TotalBiscuit got hooked on it so probably worth a shot if you're into some turn based strategy.
The pre release deals were around this range then is seemed to jump up to the low £20's this is the cheapest I've seen it since.
2% quidco too apparently but no idea if it will track.

Any idea if the performance/stability bugs have been fixed yet? Had some severe problems with it, to the point where I refunded it on Steam.

No multiple times, you can get the latest code from their facebook page anytime for the 5% off. The code changes every 30 min or so.

So so tempted, loved XCOM: EU but just don't get that much time to game any more and have a huge backlog! Think I'll wait for a sub-£10 deal as I'm not sure how much has really changed since the previous game (and Enemy Within was such a big upgrade, I'm wondering whether to just wait for the inevitable DLC anyway)

This is a massive upgrade over the previous xcom.
Completed this already and it's excellent.
The mods will make this game and there is already so many and all free.
This is a excellent buy if u liked the previous games. 10/10 for me and I was lucky as I didn't get performance issues on my system. They did bring a patch out for it the other week but for me I noticed zero difference but it did help my friend so it must of worked

Hmm it has begun! Soon this will indeed be a tenner but darksouls 3 approaches which makes this obsolete :stuck_out_tongue:

Eh? Real time RPG makes a turn based strategy game obsolete?
Next Mario Kart will make Fifa obsolete?
Microwave will make my shed obsolete?

Whenever I put the code in I always get "This code is unavailable" message. I have tried both upper/lower case, any ideas?

Performance issues like this has had in a turn based strategy are pretty hard to stomach, especially when you consider that the brilliant Android/iOS port of the last XCOM game (plus expansion) could run so well on basic hardware that it wasn't originally coded for. Shame, as it looks like a very decent game otherwise with plenty of scope to be patched and modded into something even better.
In somewhat related news, original X-Com developer Julian Gollop is starting work on what sounds like a possible follow up to the original games called Phoenix Point describing it as "turn based tactical combat with world based strategy". Yes please...

Unable to find this for anywhere near your suggested price, and its way past the time in your post.... guess you lost that bet lol. (I was looking for cheap price on this and this thread came in search results).
