Had this for a couple of months and it's perfect for diy and all household stuff, eases through brick and so on, actually used the brushless version of this yesterday with the metal chuck and all the fancy add ons, but actually prefer THIS version. HEAT!

Really? How do the two batteries work then, surely they can't have a charger built into them?

I had this one but returned it. The charging unit is built in to the battery as one unit, pretty poor design.

they were at £39 @ Homebase and £49 with the 1h charger

OK less well known brand and 2yr warranty but maybe worth a punt at the price.

you can get drill bits with a reduced shank.

We bought one, absolute junk, returned it (no hassle returning it to be fair). The batteries drain incredibly fast and the charger is slow. For the lightest of jobs its OK but its really not great. Its a shame cause the size and weight was really handy but functionally pretty useless

Bought one of these a couple of weeks ago, brilliant drill. You really don't need anything better for DIY jobs for the home.

No, cheap lightweight plastic. Prone to faults. Have you got another one we could look at?

I have this drill and it's fantastic. I paid more so this is a great drill for the money. The drill is pretty light too.

Average 4 out of 5 stars is 'terrible' like to see what adjective you use for 1 star reviews.

I picked up this over a month ago from Ebay for £42.. Seems like good drill for the money

I'm just an occasional DIYer but found this Worx drill perfect for what I needed. Obviously the Wickes drill is 18v and the Worx is 20v. Will that be noticeable does anyone know?

It has more torque tho, can't remember last time I used hammer on a drill as it seems to drill in concrete easily, not sure if that's down to the torque but probably is

The one at home base is only a drill driver. This one is a hammer drill

10 more the fat max at home base, better torque and quicker charge , or if you ain't going to use it much the one at lidl for 40

only £80 normal price on homebase, so deal not that good, still cheaper but not amazing

Heat from me, sure its not a patch on my Makita kit, bit £60 would just about get you a battery. Great for the casual DIYer.

Got one when last at this price. For the money it's a great deal. 2 lithium batteries make it a great price. Not suitable for a trader but for diy it copes well.
