I would love to try one of those what they catch on Lobster wars :innocent: These would look like horderves compared to them.

Yes, I picked up one of their #LidlSurprises magazines on Sunday. There's coupons for 40% off a whole lobster, 50% off a four bird roast, 30% off a white chocolate Easter Lamb and 30% off a milk chocolate hen with eggs.

This is how we deplete the oceans of its riches without a care of the consequences never having learned from the errors of our dumb past when we drove certain species to extinction

The Lobster is very small once defrosted, I'm surprised that it's a legal size. Must be different fishing regs in Canada!

I hear cheap supermarkets are doing a ten bird roast now, starts with an ostrich, through yo swans and seagulls and ends with a hummingbird centre. tasty.

They can be quite shellfish at times...

Got two at Christmas - they are not big once you have defrosted them- but I did pay 9.99. Not a lot of meat and a bit of a faff. The half price 4 bird roast is good value.

Lidl's own online leaflets have it at 4.99 as do the other newspaper ads:-

The voucher in Lidl's Easter brochure gives each customer 40 per cent off the normal £4.99 price and the offer, which started on Monday, is available until March 20.

The current Lidl Surprises Spring Magazine was included in some of the National newspaper's Saturday supplement this weekend
Unfortunately, they had excluded the 1 x 40% off Deluxe Whole Lobster and 1 x 50% off Deluxe Four Bird Roast vouchers
leaving just the 1 x 30% off Favorina White Chocolate Easter Lamb and 1 x 30% off Favorina Milk Chocolate Hen with Eggs vouchers

It is a great deal - without the voucher requirement (as that's already been posted anyway) and it's unfortunate that Lidl misled you on the voucher issue so thanks for trying :wink:
