I have just received the console and can confirm that the controller HAS NOT got a 3.5mm headphone jack in the bottom so must be old stock. The copy of The Division is on disk though and a separate £15 Now TV scratch card.

That's the reason I bought mine.

It's not a shopto offer. It's a eBay offer that is 20% off site wide. Just this was posted as as PS4/XBONE offer so it's not shifty at all.

Bloody hell! I managed to log in to eBay and get it in my basket at this price but as I was clicking "Confirm Order" the dreaded "The seller has altered this item" message appeared. Suddenly it's now £210.

Crap missed this, would of definitely bagged a PS4 for sub £200

Good price and was tempted for a second console. The truth is nobody knows anything about the 4K PS4. It will obviously play 4K media and maybe upscale games to 4K. However not everyone has 4K TVs yet.

I can see Sony pulling a smart one and releasing a console with a better Gpu.

It's still a bit weird, though, as in all my years of using eBay and PayPal I've never seen a transaction that clearly says one amount but is actually another. Maybe they're using the same patented (and in no way dodgy at all) eBay accounting methods that let them see 19.9919% as a nice round 20% (when it suits them)?

used code and total to pay was 180 so got one. after that checked my paypal statement and they changed me 224.99 why...???!!!

To answer your worries i thought this when ebay/paypal last had a code for discount.......... On paypal it shows the full ammount DONT WORRY that is not the amount that is taken out of your bank.
I thought the exact same but when it came to coming out of my bank it was the total with the discount So chill =]

The PS4 came up as £180.01 with the 20% discount for some reason. Someone at eBay has been watching Superman III again and is hoping that we won't notice that they're using something like 19.9919% instead of the full 20%. Because they've swindled me out of 2 whole pence I'm going to vote this as cold and throw a strop.

...or I could just be extremely thankful for the fact that I never got round to buying the PS4 earlier on in the day like I'd originally planned on doing! :wink:

I just ordered one however at first try it said error and then it went through and said 'congratulations/thanks you'll get a confirmation soon' is this normal? it doesn't appear in the 'buy' tab on my eBay account either and money hasn't come out of bank account either

Just tested it out on a hard drive I was after. my passport ultra which was 69.99 for 56 quid. code works :smiley:
