For those that missed out on the Passat AllTrack deal, I know this is no where near as good but its not half bad £182.40 an month with just 3 months down as a deposit, its 8000 miles a year over 2 years and extra millage charge of 6p per mile.
Volkswagen? They can't give em away at the moment.

I tell you why. It's because they are desperate. I've been bombarded by VW marketing material in the last few months. And phone calls.
After the recent issues with emissions, coupled with the fact that they:
A) tried to charge me £700 to fix the air con on my 1-year old Scirocco,
B) told me I needed a handbrake cable replacement two services in row which, when I pushed for a reason why, they said it was their mechanic's error and that I wouldn't have to pay,
Means that I will not buy another VW for a long long while. If ever. I've just replaced my VW with a BMW and kindly requested that VW never call me again.
Sorry to troll your deal OP. I'm sure it's a decent deal but in my opinion VW suck

Leasing companes have been running deals on the Tiguan for several months, I got an insurance quote a few months back and it was three times what I currently pay and twice what I was quoted on a Boxster a couple of years back.

Odd that, because the very similar Skoda version of this (Yeti) is remarkably cheap to insure.

might be your driving record  just checked as the wife would like one of these, but new one is just around the corner, £278 with full no claims and 10K miles, £288 for a Passat, Boxster £458 now I have another excuse not to buy a sports car
makes me remember when I was about 18, MG Montego in a garage for £2k less than a year old, was a rubbish car but it was fast, we didn't have a lot of money and my dad said I will buy it for you if you can get insurance, in those days you had to call the companies up and I nearly fell of my seat when the woman on the phone said £17K!

A lease is a contractual arrangement calling for the lessee (user) to pay the lessor (owner) for use of an asset. Property, buildings and vehicles are common assets that are leased. Industrial or business equipment is also leased.:stuck_out_tongue:

Skoda only fit the standard 110bhp 2.0 diesel engine to the lower & mid range Yeti models, this Tiguan is fitted with the 150bhp version of the 2.0 engine, which is only available on the top of the range Skodas. So the insurance will be cheaper, for some strange reason only the top of the range Skodas get the decent engines.

I'm on a mk1 (facelift) Tiguan Match BlueMotion 4motion DSG lease and thought I got a good deal at £229 13 months ago. Just 11 months left so hope the VW deals are still going then!
In the VW range, the Match spec hasn't had cruise in the past (for the other tech is nice for the price), so probably not. You can always add to spec on a lease though...
And I want a Lambo for this price. Your point being?
And before someone asks...
YOU DON'T PAY THE ROAD FUND LICENSE ON THE LEASE CAR AS YOU DON'T OWN THE VEHICLE. The lease company does, so they have to pay for it. They just send you a letter confirming they've paid for it - which I guess previously they would've included the tax disc, but not required any more.

Anyone noticed a lot of VW group lease deals on here (VW, Audi, Seat, Skoda)? Can you think why? Whether or not the emissions issue bothers you the good news is that the world has realised that VW group make OK cars, not extra special ones. Reliability average at best and no, I'm not impressed when another photocopier rep wants to leave an impression of their grille badge on my back bumper. There's a parallel here with Apple but people will still pay through the nose for that brand (not for much longer I suspect).

Details of the link error show that it is not to what car but a completely different lease company. And also that it is a business deal and not personal. So on the whole this deal is as expected. A load of tosh. Expire.
Even the deal not existing doesn't put people off. Right I'm off to post the porsche 911 for a pound a year that I just found.

Had a Tiguan Match 2.0tdi just under a year on lease (from another company) at £150 per month with xenons, keyless and the uprated audio system installed as options. Fantastic car, can't fault it. Mine is the 140bhp version, which is now a 150bhp (in the model the OP has posted), and a 187ish bhp diesel is now available. Never found the 140 to be under powered. I also got mine in white, which was a free colour at the time, but is now a premium option.
I love my Tig, but would hold out for the new shape to arrive later this year, to really appreciate the facelift and interior redesign. Its very much identical to the new Audi Q5.
Having had a great experience with my Tiguan, I will most likely go Toureg next, and no 'diesel gate' propaganda will put me off VW. If you buy a diesel or a car for that matter based on emissions alone then you should ride a pedal cycle.

I have no points, low risk area, over 30 with 9+ years no claims (actually about 13).

Can't understand why a diesel Tiguan was so much for me.
