I fitted 4 of these today on my Ford Mondeo, at this price, 44.90. First impressions are very good. I'm curious now to see if they last only 6k, as abaxas says.

I'll repeat... Avoid this like the plague.

They wear fast so you'll just be buying another set within months. The price may be 'hot' but you'll be buying 3 sets of these relative to a premium tyre. So in reality you'll be spending more money.

Maybe a good plan to put these on if you are about to sell/part ex your car :P

I find it a bit odd that there seem to be a lot of "good deals" from F1 Autocentre re tyres but none from any other tyre retailer. Is F1 a member on here?

F1 Autocentres blah , come back Kwik Fit. Recently used these shower of sh*ts for some cheap tyres, customer service was dismal, car sat finished for 15 minutes while they stood around comparing pickings from their as*holes, AND didn't get new valves fitted. It was almost worth the saving I made over other garages.

Have these in slightly different size. Went for the y (87) option as better fuel economy over the y (83). Really like them myself. Great in the dry and give confidence in the wet. Heat added

First set of tyres on out golf = 22k miles
Second set =26k
Third set (these pieces of crap) = 6k.

Avoid.

Does anyone know of any similar companies to this up York/Harrogate/Wetherby way?

Great tyres - glad I had them on this morning through the "monsoon*"

*ok - a bit of a shower but they do make you feel safer in the wet.
