Ok I'm no expert, seen this myself. Its not a Toshiba, they dont make TVs. They are made by compal or some name like that. No reviews aboit but a few reviews from people especially when this was at argos. Everyone likes the piccy, poor sd and poor sound. Forget sound imho amp or sound bar for most flat panels. My question is how are these for gaming? The deal on the Sony is where Im going at the moment. But the spec on this is great. Plus unlike argos costco are great with returns so the non toshiba and zero support are not much of an issue. Food for thought, voting hot as its hard not too, but poor sd viewing is putting me off and no gaming lag info.

Costco products are mostly high or atleast decent qualiity ... then there's the 90 day return period if not satisfied and a 5 yr warranty .. whats to lose ... i'd give a try if i needed one.

I got this TV in December and have been using it for a while SD is a bit rubbish but HD
is great i have had no problems with gaming or video playback the smart is a bit limited
but i don't really use it i have a 4K blu-ray with up-scaling and it looks excellent.
For gaming i use X-box 360 and PC and have had no problems
For TV & Film I use Sky+HD Internet Streaming & Blu-ray and DVD and have had no problems
All in all a great TV for the price.

is great i have had no problems with gaming or video playback the smart is a bit limited
