This is surprisingly easy to do, you don't need to use a translate app and you don't need a revolut card either. I found it easiest to do it like this.

1. On main browser (laptop, pc, iPad etc) log into Xbox.com with Chrome browser (for auto page translations), go to the locations at the bottom left of your page and select Argentina.

2. Now go into your account and select to add payment method, I added my standard Halifax UK debit card which worked fine with no fees, when adding your card you'll need an Argentinian address and telephone number. Just google a Uni or Macdonalds whatever.

3. Download VyperVpn app on your phone, it's free and easy to use. Make a free account (takes seconds) and set it to Argentina.

4. Lastly, still on your phone go back to Chrome log into Xbox.com, make sure it's still on Argentina - Division Gold will show up as $699 if you're on the right store and hit buy.

5. Once bought it'll show up in the ready to install list on your Xbox, download it now so you are ready to play on Tuesday. Bear in mind that's it's from Argentina so it won't unlock at midnight, it's midnight there which is 3am UK time.

Don't like buying new releases digitally normally, but think this may be a keeper! the gold Edition is a bargain, anyone got any ideas what VPN to use? I had VPN unlimited but trial ran out and don't fancy paying for it when the idea behind buying on foreign marketplace is to save money haha, I've tried a few but they all have limited countries to select, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated :smiley:

Thanks for the heads up on VyprVPN guys, I already tried this but didn't realise you could choose more countries (I had a dim moment) I only saw a select few so presumed it was like all the others I tried, well happy now, although I can't seem to find South Africa on Vypr and some good deals on their marketplace :smiley:

Yeah I have and I pre-ordered it at £35/£36 or whatever it was on thegamecollection. I buy cheap and complete then re-sell whilst price is still high, sometimes I even make a profit.
Different strokes for different folks, but that's my opinion on it. Worth it more if you gameshare but not for myself. :smiley:

The initial fee takes roughly a week to come back but you can still make purchases.

I have had real problems doing this, this past week. I have a revolut account, I used ChrisUK guide, I installed VyprVPN and did everything as I should but still got the message saying that I need to use another form of payment. It was the first time trying these other country deals and it has really put me off trying it again

I ended up using Revolut which was painless. Set yourself up on the app and then credit your Revolut account from a bank account so you have some credit to play with (I put in 40GBP but the Gold Edition was < £32).
Then request the virtual Revolut MasterCard in the app.
Then load up VyprVPN or an alternative from your PC / device and connect to the Xbox store in Argentina from the link in this thread.
Add it to the basket, then enter your Revolut MC details here. I used Google Translate to work out what to put where)
If it doesn't work first time (you'll get the Spanish version of "something went wrong " or "please select another payment method" persevere - but make sure the Transaction isn't Pending in Revolut before you try again.

For info I also got a 19p transaction from Microsoft before the sale which I guess was them proving the card and I expect this will be refunded / time out. I contacted Revolut support and literally as i did I got a confirmation transaction for the actual purchase...so I don't think Revolut did anything to intervene.

Now it's set up future purchases will be very straightforward.

Correct, games will unlock based on the country it was purchased from. Sometimes this can make it slightly later than UK release, but if the game is released a few days earlier (often US is before UK) you can use that method to get a game a few days early.

1pm is when the servers were switched on, so if you had a physical copy early you could play it. The game for downloads will be 12:01 on the 8th in the time zone where the game was bought from (so as mentioned should be 3:01 our time)

Just search for a Argentinian McDonald's or something, I used the university of buines Aires, make sure u get the right amount of letters and numbers for telephone number and postcodes. Download the revolut app and transfer your money to there, it gives you a digital debit card with card number etc to use. Then download a vpn app and set your vpn to Argentina.. All can be done on your mobile within an hour.

Also, if you navigate to the game on either Xbox or SmartGlass it says "Buy £54.99" instead of "Purchased On..."

If I go to Gold, it says £87.99 but if I change to Argentina it says "Purchased".

That's the only game I know this to happen on. Every other game, doesn't matter what region you're on - if you own it, it'll say you own on it on every region.

Finally got it to work with me, try doing it with a new or different Microsoft account and change the billing information on the actual Microsoft account while still being on Microsoft Argentina. Insert the address, revolut card details, save the information. Then head to Argentina Xbox store and when you sign in with the account the card should show up and just select pay and it should be all good to go

Try to make sure that you haven't used the account to sign in on your Xbox, they are starting to connect the dots and see that the Xbox is a different region to where you're trying to buy from

They won't ban your account, they will just disable games with one of updates and might find permanent fix to not allow purchase s like this in the future. (Same happend with ps4 after one of updates they disabled all the games from primary accounts sold widely on auctions)

I was just about to buy this from Tesco for £42 so I just checked on here to see if it was available cheaper. I have used the 'change account to another region' hack last Year but thought the changes MS made to stop people from doing it was too much hassle. Once bought it'll show up in the ready to install list on your Xbox.

thanks I went for the gold edition, can confirm it's the gold edition that I own on the Xbox store too. Think £32 with the season pass + extra dlc is well worth it. Worked for me with vpn software mentioned above

It shouldn't if you do it the proper way -

Bottom left of the xbox.com page is the region - it should say "English (United Kingdom)". You can click on that and change it to the Argentina Xbox store and it won't automatically change unless you change back or you sign out.

Revolut deposit was blocked by my bank (suspected fraud). I found it easiest to do the following, all on Chrome on my phone:

Download VyprVPN app on your smartphone.
Create account, log in.
Choose Argentinian server.
Open Chrome; go to xbox live marketplace, search for The Division.
In the bottom left of the Xbox Marketplace page, click "English (United Kingdom)" and change your region to Argentina.
Enter your credit card details including name, expiry, CVS code etc. but use an Argentinian billing address and phone number.
Complete your purchase, the game will be in your account.

Thanks OP, ~ £33 for the gold edition.

Still couldn't purchase it using standard credit cards, but what I did is change my address details to Argentinian in Revolut and put the same address as a billing address when adding Revolut details in microsoft store and that finally worked. 3 bloody days to get that working!

It would not let me purchase the game, all details were entered correctly and Microsoft even did the small 19p charge, though when going to the purchase screen for the game it kept coming up with --

As long as you had the region set to Argentina when purchased then that's the price you pay. It doesn't matter what payment method used as long as the payment goes through.

Hi thanks for the reply. I'm using the revolut card app which has £38.67 on it now as ive had 8 microsoft charges of 19 on it now.. It has been entered and re-entered. Still to no avail. all address details are correct, card details are correct. vpn is working 100%.
It just wont do it.

Works fine with a standard bank card, you must use an Argentine address, the University address given is fine. Also did this for Russia yesterday to get the Gold Edition of Dying Light.

I'm getting the pbr9002 error too think that means there's a block on our purchasing from ALL regions after a quick google, also looks like only option is to speak to m$ support to get them to rectify the error though even some people have problems with that as support don't have a clue to why the account can't purchase.

This was a complete pain in the ****. I gave up in the end. It kept saying the post code was too short (4 digits) and then it wouldn't translate some pages on Google Chrome (Forms), or accept debit cards (only credit cards). By the time I had translated stuff it logged me out of my account and I had to start again. :disappointed:
Is there a step by step tutorial which actually works, showing you what info to put in where?
